Monster Sandbox! (V1.4)

Beskrivelse
A custom map where you can spawn monsters and watch them fight with each other or yourself!

You can spawn enemies from SS3, SSHD, SS2 and few mod packs from workshop.

This is still an early version of the map that will be expanded and updated in the future!


V 1.4 Changes:

- Added Solais Enemies Packs (Both SSHD and SS3 Pack, grouped together in single category)

- Added SS3 and SSHD bosses: Ugh-Zan IV, Ugh-Zan III, Kukulkan, Exotech Larva and Mordekai
-- Due to technical limitation, for Mordekais and Exotech Larvas, each can only be spawned a total of 30 times for each side separately (aka. 30 good and 30 evil), after that their spawn button will inform you it will no longer work.
-- Mordekais spawn the same enemies as he does on The Grand Cathedral, enemies spawned are not counted in the Battle Score Recorder
-- Mordekais and Larvas can move/teleport only over a large center area of the map. Not the whole map (listed in map list below as "Special enemies activity area")
-- Larvas do not have regeneration batteries for fair difficult
-- Larvas have a glitch where they may not fully activate if spawned when player has "Ghost Mode" activated
-- Ugh-Zans use their "Killable" variant from Solais Enemies Pack

- Added Cave Demons and Witch-Brides
-- Can move/teleport only over a large center area of the map. Not the whole map (listed as "Special enemies activity area")
-- Demons will leap onto invisible columns during battle, this is intentional for them to attack
-- Witch-Brides cannot attack other enemies, this is hard-coded

- Added The Grand Cathedral map (Including final area and corridor of death)

- Added Under the Iron Cloud map (Including final boss area as well as entire city section before that)

- Added ability to fly when jumping with menu open, raising your height, closing menu re-enables your gravity

- You can now close the menu by clicking anywhere outside of the buttons

- Menu is now in a cylinder shape

- Fixed Static and Rotating cannons
-- They now despawn when pressing "Despawn all" button
-- They no longer attack the player

- Changed the name of "Manual Control" button to "Open Spawning Menu"

- There's now a welcome message when starting the map that tells how to open menu

--- Exotech Larva and Mordekai the Summoner have limit of 30 per map spawn for technical reasons

-- Andreiki's Mechassault Enemies (in Smaller Mod Packs category)
-- As a request features it's own bonus enemy - Techno Wizard! (in More Enemies Pack, untill the actual pack gets ported to Fusion)
-- Noam 2000's Serious Sam 2 enemies + Talos Mine
-- Spy Cr3ed's Serious Sam 2 enemies
-- Minecraft Enemies
-- Thana's Insane Enemy Pack
-- Five Nights at Freddy's Enemies Pack

Current maps include:
-- "Desert" - An empty desert area with a few rocks, simple as that
--- Special enemies activity area: Most of the map around the 3 rocks
-- "Sand Maze" - a map where every spawned enemy will patchfind towards randomly selected spot and wait a few seconds on it (even if spawned outside), Flying enemiess will patrol above the maze walls
--- Special enemies activity area: Around the central tower of the maze
-- "gm_flatgrass" - The iconic map from Garry's Mod
--- Special enemies activity area: Around the lonely building
-- "Ice Castle" - Final area from Land of the Damned stage, huge map with very slippery surface, enemies will walk to random spots across the ice on spawn.
--- Special enemies activity area: Inside the castle and in outer ring around it
-- "The Grand Cathedral" - Entire final map of The Second Encounter, including final arena, the cathedral and corridor of death
--- Special enemies activity area: Near the small fort in meteor rain area
-- "Under the Iron Cloud" - The last level in ruined Cairo in SS3, features entire map: final boss area as well as ruined streets before that
--- Special enemies activity area: In the final boss area

Vehicles
-- Spy Cr3ed's port of Serious Sam 2 Vehicles and turrets

Other Features
- Enemies are sorted between games/mod packs and Threat Level (S-Small, M-Medium, B-Big, H-Huge, E-Extraordinary)
- Enemies don't attack (and will pause attacking) when menu is open
- Button to despawn all spawned enemies (Named Killer)
- Button to spawn random enemy
- Button to allow/disallow enemies to walk and chase the opponents, on Maze map will prevent them from patrolling
- A "Battle Recorder", which you can use to record stats regarding fatalities taken by each side and in what power ranks.
- By pressing space with menu open, player can fly

Compatibility notes:
The map must use SS3 .gtitle, but SS3 player models don't have animations for riding SS2 vehicles by default, to solve that the mod replaces the technopolip cutsequence anim set by adding missing ride animations, so if there is a mod out there that replaces this one animset then it may cause conflicts.

Certain custom font mods can cause text messages to not appear.

Any enemy resources from workshop belong to their original creators and only .ep and .cbs were modified to work with the map.

Sand Maze music is "Arabian" from Worms Ultimate Mayhem

Desert music is "Desert Planet" from Creature Conflict: The Clan Wars

Ice Castle music is "Frozen Planet" from Creature Conflict: The Clan Wars



Known bugs

- More Enemies Mod pack icon is a placeholder, will be changed when pack gets ported

- Only Evil alignment Lava Golems multiply when killed.

- A notable lag spikes may occur on certain machines when menu is open, but disappear when closing it

- Cave Demons leap onto invisible columns during battle, this is required for them to attack

- Witch-Brides and SSHD Cannons cannot attack other enemies, this is hard coded

- Exotech Larvas may not fully activate if spawned when player has "Ghost Mode" cheat activated, making them remain in T-Pose during attacks

- Mordekais will teleport and spawn enemies even when menu is open

- When Kukulkan dies, all other puppets on the field will die with it, this is hard-coded element of bossfight

The pictures have been uploaded to the community hub, look for cannon bug 1, 2, 3, 4. As you can see in the fourth one the enemies run toward and attack what ever it is.
