"Solution is so easy.

Some people want their save to be eternal for some reason, just don't question it and let devs focus on actual issues."

The problem really wasn't about that, it was that every side blew things out of proportions. I got to the endgame in about 4 days of playing a couple hours per day, and had max water.

Now I'm talking a break till we get new content, couldn't care less about my three days of random in-game loot.

Cant faukt someone for investigating this on an early access before they buy. Its actually smart. Its good for the consumer to be pro consumer.

Just from running missions and specifically making it a point to retrieve water en route. I've gotten about 25 water jugs in about an hour and a half. I have two full time jobs. I specifically schedule myself down time when I can. Tell me how this is unattainable?

I figured you could exploit tutorial for water, but meh, not needed I find water pretty often when running out.

Water should provide a bonus of some kind if maintained, but shouldn't punish you if not.

I really don't understand the complaint. It's so easy to get water in this game even without exploits, and your average run on a map is so quick it stacks up really easy if you have any basic understanding of how to play the game as intended.

Especially now that Hunter-Killer spawns have been adjusted (A FAR bigger issue I'm glad they hotfixed. Now they don't just spawn the second you LOOK at a picture in Ashen Mesa)

Bigger issues with the game exist than this mechanic. Getting stuck on every hunk of junk when you're trying to sprint away is a bigger deal that will turn more people off of playing.

Can it be refined? Sure, I don't disagree on that. But trying to act like this is some game-shattering deal is nuts to me.

Having stronger characters via prestige leveling matters far more to survival than your gear in most cases anyway, and you never lose that even if your water hits zero.
