I totally get the surviving thing, that's why i'm saying that if you were to walk barefoot on a rusty piece of nail or something, it could turn pretty bad for you. Not that socks would actually help you in that case but still, it'll be better than nothing.

I think ''You'' from Lone Survivor focuses more on surviving than thinking about what to wear.

He don't wear any for stealth reasons, as they would make more noise that the Infected could possibly hear.
