BLACKSOULS Expansion

BLACKSOULS Expansion adds a damage dealer class, Knight, based on the protagonist of the hentai games BLACKSOULS, alongside 30+ new collectibles, 10+ new pieces of equipments and several formidable boss fights built around Knight, and some more NPCs who may or may not tied to my other mods. This class is tailored entirely to late-endgame progression.

When installing this mod, the bulletin board will show a wanted notice for Knight, whom you can first encounter at Rolling Quintars Field. Losing the battle will progress BLACKSOULS Expansion's plot, and the true fight will be within Salmon Room. Defeating Knight then allow you to unlock his Class, and as long as Knight staying in your party, you can access to remaining mod-exclusive contents (collectibles, NPCs, boss fights, events).
Hint: There's a NPC in the duck house (upper floor) explaining some (uneccessary) miscallenous mechanics and, if Knight is in party, provide a more in-depths explaination on Knight's gimmicks. If you've beaten the game, he also provide hint to collect missing weapons.

There's 3 major challenges you'll be expected to overcome in this mod

1) Defeat Knight at Salmon Room: The very first (real) fight is also the most difficult one, testing not only your skills as Crystal Project player but also your persistence in face of unfair battle. And feel free to challenge him later when you're confident in your strength, as fighting in Salmon Room can be a bit too early bar the gamebreaking experts.
Hint: Crowd Control is key.

2) Collect Knight's weapons: Knight's weapons are scattered across Sequoia, which only him (or if you have Knight class) can utilize their strength. Half of them lying around, either in easy-to-see spots or hide in the most hideous locations ever; others collected by a vendor in Shoudu Province, and a handful are held by mod-exclusive bosses.
Hint: Add marker to your map frequently so you can backtrack easier post-Knight.

3) Mastering Knight: Knight have no skills to learn, the class's strength tied to your collection. Furthermore, since having Knight in party is mandatory to access the boss fights, you must know how to pilot the class or accept playing with just three members.
Hint: Knight is a dedicated damage dealer/hypercarry.


I've patched out all conflicts I found when running both BLACKSOULS Expansion and The Candleholder, and NPC dialogue also got changed to be more consistent with the new lore. However, both the class and the battles aren't balanced around the candle, which could both be a blessing or a curse. If you're insane enough to run both mod, that's it.
