Miner Mod

Description
This mod adds a 'miner' character
Dig through stones and try to find diamonds in this exciting new mod!

The end state of the mod is TBD but I am thinking of adding at least a few more things that can be mined and making my own drawing of steve (or something like him) to replace the standard emoji man. Also maybe bosses?

Features

5 new attacks
  • Pickaxe - deals minimal damage but necessary for mining resources
  • Diamond - Deals huge damage based on income and gives coins on hit
  • Glowstone - Target self and add temporary health regen
  • Redstone - Target self and add temporary attack speed
  • Lapis - Deals very little damage and launch ice at enemy
13 new perks
  • Pickaxe - adds more pickaxes
  • Sharper Pickaxes - increases pick damage by 10
  • Faster Mining - pickaxes gain 30% chance to launch 1 pickaxe when they hit
  • Diamond Shields - Diamonds now give 1 temporary shield on hit
  • Shinier Diamonds - Diamonds deal more income damage
  • Diamond - Adds a diamond
  • Mine Diamonds - Pickaxe gains 10% chance to mine 1/60th of a diamond on hit
  • Mine Glowstone - 30% chance to gain 1-3 glowstone dust per level (45 needed for glowstone) on pickaxe hit
  • Tasty Glowstone - Glowstone heals 10 health on hit
  • Shiny Glowstone - Glowstone gives 3 more regen on hit
  • Pure Glowstone - Glowstone gives permanent +5 max health on hit
  • Mine Redstone - 30% chance to gain 1-3 redstone dust per level (45 needed for redstone) on pickaxe hit
  • Mine Lapis - 30% chance to gain 1-3 lapis dust per level (45 needed for lapis) on pickaxe hit
1 new relic
  • Stone Mine - Gives stones for every 30 pickaxes launched

Strategy

  • Gain more pickaxes to mine for stones faster
  • Increase strength to make the stones you mine better
  • Gain diamonds and go for huge income damage
  • Gain diamonds and go for self shielding
  • More to come!

Roadmap

  • Redraw character as steve from minecraft so we do not have to look at a basic emoji
  • Add new projectiles
    • Lapis - enemy slowdown
    • Redstone - attack speed
    • Glowstone - healing related
  • Perks related to new projectiles
    • Lapis - enemy slowdown

  • Bosses maybe???

Seems like the error had to do with the initialization of the function which was coded with the diamond attack. I moved this function to the starting relic which should fix the issue. The reason I wasn't seeing it was because I was testing it by adding the attack to the character from the beginning which initialized the function and thus resolving the issue.

So I think I figured it out, it looks like you only get the 1 eCoin on any Diamonds that comes from mining and not the ones from cards

I am seeing the Diamonds not giving eCoin on hit too, anything we can do to help?

I am not seeing the issue of not getting coins on diamond hit even on fresh install. So I do not know how I can fix it.
