Introduction

Hello and welcome to this guide.

The Imperial Log is likely my favorite addition to this remake, not only because it's something to collect, but because it can help to provide a guide to people on how to proceed with such a free-roaming game like this. Not to mention, it helps expose how deep and complex a game like this can be with all the possible variations for most quests, which is quite impressive considering that the original came out in 1993.

My biggest peeve is that the log does not transfer in NG+ and there is no way to see it without a save file, which is where this guide comes in. If you're stuck, or just curious about the different outcomes, you've come to the right place.

Due to the nature of the log, this guide will contain heavy spoilers, so you've been warned.
How To Use This Guide
The guide is divided by each game region and page, just like in the game (same order as well). Each entry will follow this format:

0. The Bard's Song **BUGGED**
Press New Game at the Title Screen
In the Avalon pub, the Emperor hears a minstrel sing about the origins of the Avalon empire. A tale of heroes, and the people who rose against them.

The Emperor reminisces about how it all began, and eventually came to an end...

The first part is the title of the entry as it appears in the log, along with the number of entry for that region.

The second part is the instructions on how to get the entry to appear in the Log. Do note that this is not an actual walkthrough, so I won't always go in depth for every condition.

Finally, the last part is the text of the entry. Each paragraph represents a different section for that entry, and thus, existing line breaks in a section were removed for clarity's sake.

A **BUGGED** flag means that the entry cannot be currently obtained in the English version of the game, but (with one exception) they're available in the Japanese one. This only pertains to getting the entry, however; so if you obtain them in the Japanese version and then switch to English, the entry will still be available.
