Each cat in your colony in Cattails: Wildwood Story can be brought along on your adventures as a buddy once you have reached at least a 3-star friendship with them. Each cat also has two traits that can provide different benefits to you as a player. There are active traits and passive traits. This guide goes over all possible buddies currently in-game and their traits, to allow you to make the best possible decision on who to bring with you when traveling in the wilds.

Caring -- A tender cat can find value when others may overlook it. When harvesting herbs, this cat has a chance to collect an herb 1 rank better than what appeared to be growing.

Hardy --You won't want to be on this cat's bad side. Their brutal attacks deal bonus damage, allowing them to defeat their enemies quicker.
