The Preserver Armor patch adds a new armor to the game. The Water's Edge patch adds a two-handed sword to the game that can be reforged into a one-hander, and either version can be upgraded twice.

Preserver Armor:
Description:
- This patch adds an armor to the game that can be upgraded twice. The armors have equivalent stats to the Crawler Plate, Knight and Paladin armors, and
are obtained at similar stages in the story.
- To get the armor: talk to Saturas after Raven's death and boast to him about your enemy's defeat.
- To start the upgrade chain: after Pyrokar has explained to you how to recharge the Eye of Innos, talk to Vatras about going to the Valley of Mines.
- I tried to make the mod as logical and as immersive as I could, so every other piece of necessary information is given to you in the game.

Installation:
! This patch requires the latest version of Ninja.
- Drop the "PreserverArmor.vdf" file into your Gothic2\Data folder.
- To uninstall, simply delete the "PreserverArmor.vdf" file.

Compatibility notes:
! It will NOT work together with my Dragonlord's Armor mod.
- The Readme contains more notes.

Water's Edge:
Description:
- This patch adds a two-handed sword to the game that can be reforged into a one-handed version. Either version of the sword has two improvement levels.
The swords are equivalent to the Paladin's weapons (with a little surprise bonus).

How to get the two-handed sword:
- In Jharkendar, talk to Juan (the bandit that stole Huno's steel package) and antagonize him a bit.

How to reforge it into a one-hander:
- After returning Huno's steel package, ask him for some help.
- The option to reforge will only appear if your 1-handed skill is higher than your 2-handed skill.

How to upgrade the sword:
- After you've returned Huno's steel package, go and bother Saturas for a moment. He won't mind.
- This will begin the upgrade chain. Every other necessary piece of information is obtained in the game.
- If you get stuck, there's a Readme in the archive.
