"EDSF Ergo (in this order, as we traditionally referred to movement as "Up, Down, Left, Right" before WASD became the IMO horrible "default" in PC gaming post-2000) maintains hand positioning & movement on the Home Row keys (ASDF)

"( ^ )" refers to a tertiary bind on that key, meaning it's free to be used however you'd need if the modern game has more binds to be used. In games that have Leaning, X and V are inverted for the leans. This is purposeful, so if the game only has a Lean-Hold function (requiring you to hold the key in order to lean, as opposed to a toggle), the inversion on the keybind allows you easier freedom to move into the direction of your lean, as the movement fingers left in position on EDSF. (If the game has toggle-lean available, I'll simply just bind X = Lean Left, V = Lean Right).

Since I rarely use Capslock, I simply rebind it with Left Ctrl either in keyboard software/firmware, or in the OS itself (This can be done within registry of Windows). This way pressing Capslock sends a Left Ctrl input, and pressing Left Ctrl toggles Capslock.

End note: I always try to encourage people to think outside the box when it comes to keybinds. No two people have the same hand size or resting position of comfort, so play around with your keybinds however you like, and explore finding new ways to interact with your games the way you prefer."
