How to properly start a run
Your first 5 rounds
When you have loaded up the basic deck on easy mode, you will be faced with a few cards, a map, a purple circle, and what appears to be units on the map with orange arrows pointing to them, the arrows are basic ways to see generally where the most of the attack is coming from and so that you don't miss any units. Your goal: kill all the enemy "Ghost" units to move onto the next round

Proper unit usage
You have a certain amount of cards that you can use before the boss on round 5, if you run out of cards before then, you lose. The strategy here is to use as little amount of cards/units as possible, to save up to fight the boss. That is where it becomes tricky, if you use too little, you may have just thrown those units away, you want to find the best amount, and positions for your units to maximize your chances at defeating the boss down the road. Over time you will find certain cards beat others 1v1, or 2v1 minimizing your card usage. NOTE: When placing your unit, a circle will appear around them, this is unit attack range, for best use or long range units, like archers, place the enemy near the outside of that circle to give them the most amount of time to attack

Earning enough gold to stay alive
In this game there is an interest system, if you end a round with multiples of 5 gold, you will be rewarded with extra interest, so even though you have gold to spend, you may not want to spend it right away, as this allows you to earn more gold, there are cases when you would want to spend that gold, but that's for you to decide based on your playstyle. On average, your best bet is to try to end round with ~25 gold, as that will give you the max payout of 5 interest per round, and that adds up!

Fighting your first boss
Bosses appear every 5 rounds, ending with the final boss on the 25th round. The T1 boss is meant to be easy enough to hopefully defeat it with a few runes, and a full hand of 5 cards, you may want more cards in your deck to be safe. The boss is randomly selected so there is no telling how you can specifically prepare other than quantity in cards and runes. HUGE NOTE: After defeating a boss, every card used and unused in your deck are reshuffled!, meaning don't be afraid to use every card in your hand during a boss fight, this is where you push hard!
How to consistently beat runs
Peak gold performance
You want to make a bet with yourself every round to use as little cards as possible while still beating the round, this allows you to not buy new units to fix your mistakes, which means more stored gold, which means more interest every round. This can be even further pushed by finding the "Extended Interest" rune at T3.

Another great way to earn more gold during a run is to buy runes that make enemies drop, even more gold! buying them early on might be a risk, but for the long run is worth it if you don't fall short before the boss!

Buying higher tier units
Although this is purely based off your current runs play style, most of the time you're limited to just a few cards in your hand, now if your hand contained all T5 units, rather than all T1 units, your army will be leaps and bounds stronger. This comes at a cost, a literal cost, those units cost significantly more than T1 units, so you may even see the benefit of trying to unit spam. All is in the user and how they want to go about it.

Creating a synergy
Some cards/units benefit more from runes than others, one case is Necromancer, they spawn really weak, low health, low attack units, BUT this means that adding 2 damage from a rune to the necromancer summons attack (which are default 2 damage) is a literal doubling in damage for 3 gold. There are many synergies in Glingdom, you just need to find what works best! I will give you this though, all berserk units against 1 boss, eats them alive quickly :)
UNIT TYPES
Necromancer
These units will spawn other units, given a certain amount of tiime has passed and they are not at their spawn cap already, there are runes to not only speed up how fast they spawn, but even a rune at T5 that allows your Necromancer units to instantly spawn their first at round start.

Berseker
These units will deal increasingly more damage to the same target they attack, when they move on to another target, this reset and builds back up again for the new unit, great behind tank units to take down the enemy tanks, the increase of damage per attack can also be further increased by runes.

Thorned
These units will dish out damage to anybody who attacks them, this is shown by a particle effect around the attacker of a Thorned unit, this damage can be increased by runes.

Area of Effect [AOE]
AOE units shine when you think you are over ran by a ton of units, including enemy necromancer unit spawns, they are great for dish damage out, you guessed it, in an area, the area of effect is increase by range increase runes.

Healer
Heals teamates. duh, amount of heal can be increased by runes.

Gold Producer
These units will give you a set amount of gold if you win a round with that unit still alive, the amount is denoted in the units description.
