I advice you to buy the Skumole Shack property ($1000). That is the nearest property and which is right next to the mission start. So if you think losing during the mission, just load your save and retry.

The trick is easy, just rob the motorcycle of one biker rather than take an free Angel or a Free way next to the bar. Their motorcycles are faster and easier to drive. The race starts immediately after you bestride the motorcycle.
