That was until I found an application called Lossless Scaling. Lossless Scaling is an application that supports multiple scaling algorithms and frame generation methods. Running a game at 30FPS, with Lossless Scaling enabled, it will make a new frame (say 1.5) and insert it between frames 1 and 2, doubling your FPS and making the game feel smoother. This makes the game far more playable! (I’ve got decent hardware too.)

Major benefits are:

- Not messing with game files, maintaining stability.
- Playing other games smoother!

When launching Lossless Scaling, select the newest Frame Generation (2.3)
Press Scale and enter the game!
