you also need at most:
1x hopoo feather
but i recommend a photon jetpack too.
(if u wanna save time, not grind for a red, and have confidence in your jump you dont need the photon)

pick artificer. her flamethrower ability will allow you to access the secret area, and while it is possible with more items, this is operating with the least amount of material necessary. if you dont have artificer stop reading this guide you dont need the shard

consult the map real quick, you will see those three jump pads. those and arti's flamethrower are necessary to get to the skeleton fisherman at the top, which is the starting area of the secret area.

here is how:

• make the jump from the leftmost jump pad
  
• get some air
  
• use your flamethrower when you've travelled laterally enough
  
• and GRAB ON TO THAT FISHING LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

once you get onto the planks go left and climb down a ladder pretending to be a wooden beam
at the bottom, walk left and u will fall out of bounds HUG THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE WALL

this leads us to charpter 2 the crap terrible area

yellow: invisible walls
red: empty areas and holes that make you teleport up and do the entire thing again avoid these

at the really tricky hopoo feather jump that requires u to land at the hidden skeleton fisher dude, it can help to use ur flamethrowwer as u fall to buy you some time to register wwhen to doublejump

and uuhh when at the stairs going down double check your on the level to make the jump across to the real path not the fake go-f-yourself slash quick tp back path yea pkok i trust u know how to gauge that
i kinda didnt doublecheck how many steps there were so just lik e use your head and see if you feel like you're jumping over a "small hole" that leads down into the fake path
