So here's some tools to play with while in observer mode (free cam). The more tools or info or techniques we got, I'll try to include them here and keep this updated, share anything you may have found cool or interesting to create awesome shots!

NOTE: Check the FREECAM tab in the Controls Menu (only accesible in-game at the moment) to get used to the most used keys.

1. Start Silica and lower the console
2. cheats
3. map riftbasin mp_sandbox and wait until it loads (more map names and game modes at the end of the guide)
4. Lower console and type cheats again
5. fog (to see the wole map)
6. ai (to disable AI until you finish making the scene)
7. resources sol 9999999 (resources alien 9999999 or resources centauri 9999999)
8. build (disables build time and build range, in case you need structures)
9. damage (if you need to remove damage)
10. Spawn the units and prepare the scene with backspace (NOTE: Check the freecam keybinds as there's a key to teleport a unit to another location)
11. team sol (to switch to SOL, or Team centauri or Team aliens)
12. Press Right Enter or / to toggle the RTS mode (super useful to go RTS view, give an order and then return to Freecam)
13. Give the order
14. Press the right Enter or / to go freecam again (Note: Only working while using mp_sandbox mode, also check Freecam controls to see which is the correct key to jump from RTS to Freecam with one button)
15. Press the Pause key (top right of keyboard)
16. Press G multiple times to remove ALL GUI (there are 3 or 4 individual ones)
17. Go to the camera angle you need and hold middle mouse click while scrolling up for the dramatic close up effect and use WASD to adjust distance to fit everything
18. Start recording your screen
19. AI (units will regain controls)
20. Optional: If you want to act in the scene, make sure you're on the right team, otherwise you may be attacked and ruin the scene. Example: Use "team sol" command to join SOL or Team wildlife to use the worms.
21. Hit Unpause
22. AND ACTION!

• Map benchmark = starts a 5 minute benchmark test
  
• / and * to slow or increase time speed
  
• Set capmult X (Where X is: 0 - low; 1 - medium; 2 - high; 3 - infinite) = sets the unit cap
  
• DayScale 0 to pause the day/night cycle

• In Silica Settings, check the smooth camera slide bar to adjust camera smoothness)
  
• backspace: Opens spawn menu (you can set the keybinds to your liking in the Control Menu >> Free Cam tab)
  
• Minus sign ( - ) and plus sign ( + ) to cycle between night and day (cannot be done while game is paused
  
• Hold the 4th mouse button for slow motion effect (useful while paused to advance to a desired spot, after releasing, time will stop because it is paused)
  
• Q and E = tilt the camera
  
• i = show/hide AI info
  
• p = show/hide projectile and damage info
  
• h = cycle through 3 modes of health display
  
• Also, if you RIGHT CLICK on a unit, you will LOCK the camera to that unit. Very cinematic.
  
• F12 is the default "Take Screenshot" from Steam.
