Tropical Island

The red lines show you where to place your boat to get the most straight forward way to the special fishing locations. The numbers tell you how many times you need to row with your paddle in order to get to each point.

The number of rows you must do is subjective based on specific boat placement as it may make the results off by a few but you should still be within the spawn area to see the fish. Rowing is done in this guide by using the normal paddle and the smaller boat while holding the button down for the paddle and not letting go until you reach the number required. Count the times the oar animates a row.

Buoy costs 400c. +10 Maintenance
-It can be placed to more easily locate your fishing spots.

Boat costs 4,000c. +200 Maintenance
Big Boat costs 8,000c. +400 Maintenance
-It can be picked up and placed as many times as you'd like. It does not break.
-Sometimes items can get stuck under the benches or inside of the boat walls. Simply pick the boat up and the items will drop.
-To get back in your boat simply use the steps attached to the side.

Paddle costs 50c.
-It can be used 200 times before it breaks.
-It takes 1 damage every 4 uses. So it likely has 50 health.

Black Paddle costs 150c.
-It can be used 300 times before it breaks.
-It takes 1 damage every 6 uses. So it likely also has 50 health.

Fishing Rod costs 300c.
-It can be used 50 times before it breaks.
-From time of cast until catching something is about 16 seconds.
-It takes 1 damage each time you catch something. So it likely has 50 health.
-Casting without catching anything or if something gets away, does not reduce its health.

Advanced Fishing Rod costs 600c.
-It can be used 50 times before it breaks.
-From time of cast until catching something is about 13 seconds.
-It takes 1 damage each time you catch something. So it likely has 50 health.
-Casting without catching anything or if something gets away, does not reduce its health.

Fish Trap costs 60c. +2 Maintenance
-Used to catch fish passively.
-It says x3 once placed. Once you harvest the fish the number will tick down once. It will still catch you a fish on x0 which means a fish trap can catch you 4 fish before breaking.
-Traps can be left indefinitely. Their health only goes down once harvested. They will not however continue catching more fish until you harvest the previous one.
-Fish traps have a chance to catch special fish if placed within the special fish spawn area.

Regular Fish Stand 500c. +45 Maintenance
Big Fish Stand 750c. +64 Maintenance

Grey Fish Location 1
On the large dock, stand all the way on the back right. Face the only wooden post in the middle. Place your boat directly below the post leaving the boat the direction it naturally places. Use the paddle 30 times then let the boat come to a complete stop on its own. You should now be over the Grey Fish.

Grey Fish Location 2
There is a piece of land sticking out to the right of the small dock. Go there. Place your boat on the right side of that land and row straight until you use your paddle 37 times. Let the boat come to a complete stop. Face off the right side of your boat in the center and row with the paddle 5 more times. Let the boat come to a complete stop. You should now be over the Grey Fish.

Green Fish Location 1
On the South-West side of the island you'll see two tall plants sticking out of the water. Place your boat with the kelp on the right side sticking through the center of the boat. Use your paddle 43 times and let your boat come to a complete stop. You should now be over the Green Fish.

Green Fish Location 2
Land on the rounded rock island in the East. You can hop up on the small section in the front. Place your boat in the notch in the rocks facing North. Row your boat 11 times and allow it to come to a complete stop. You should now be over the Green Fish.

Carp
There is a piece of land sticking out to the right of the small dock. Go there. Face the island at sea with the tower on it and place your boat so the rudder is inside of the small plant sticking out of the water. Row straight 27 times. Allow your boat to come to a complete stop. You should now be over the Carp.

Orange Roughy
Walk up the stairs on the large dock. On the 5th wooden post on the right side look out at the water. Rotate your boats position one time and place it below the post. Use your paddle 25 times then let the boat come to a complete stop. You should now be over the Orange Roughy.

Octopus
There is a piece of land sticking out to the right of the small dock. Go there. Place your boat on the right side of that land and row straight until you use your paddle 11 times and let the boat come to a complete stop. You should now be over the Octopus.

Swordfish
There is a piece of land sticking out to the right of the small dock. Go there.
Once there look out over the water for the island in the distance with trees and head over to it.
Once you get closer go around to the right of it and head towards the back. Near the back, just around the edge, you'll see a small piece of land you can walk onto. Pick your boat up and go onto this piece of land and face the way you came from. Rotate the boat 3 times and try placing it in the notch as good as you can. Once your boat is placed, row straight 13 times then let the boat come to a complete stop. You should now be over the Swordfish.

Shark
Place your boat to the right of the large dock steps. Paddle towards the center rocky island to your right. It will have some plants sticking out of the water. Hop onto the rocky island and place your boat at the very end of it on the left side. Row 25 times then let your boat come to a complete stop. You should now be over the Shark.

East Town

The red lines show you where to travel to get the most straight forward way to the special fishing locations.

Red Circles mean a boat was not used to locate the fishing spot. You may still want to take a boat with you if you're planning on fishing some of the spots, but if you're just placing a marker for later you won't need the boat.
Lobster Location 1
Go to the right of the decoration store. Cross the water out to the small island with kelp sticking out of the water. The Lobsters are in a shallow pool on the island.

Lobster Location 2
Go behind the State Officer area. You can see some kelp sticking out of the water near the next island. The Lobsters are located within the kelp patch.

Carp Location 1
Go through the large gateway and go up the stairs. Cross the bridge. Climb the rocks and up some more steps. Through the pavilion area is a small pond. You will not visibly see the fish in this location but the carp can be caught here.

Carp Location 2
Go through the large gate way. Follow the dirt path to the left until you get to some water. Go around the water all the way to the back where you'll find a pond. The Carp are swimming in the center around a stack of stones.

Green Fish Location 1
Go to the right of the Decoration Store and head out towards the small island that looks like a round rock from a distance. On the other side of the island you can see a stack of stones under water. The Green Fish are just on the other side of it in the kelp.

Green Fish Location 2
Travel back to the larger Carp Pond and cross the bridge near it and head left along the shore. Cross over to the other island on the right. Place your boat so the larger piece of Kelp is on the left side of your boat. Row out 5 times and let your boat come to a complete stop. You should be over the Green fish now.

Goby
Head through the large gate way and follow the light posts to the left. Head up the stairs and climb the mountain. At the top there is a tiny pond. You will not visibly see the fish in this location but the Goby can be caught here.

Tuna
Go behind the Garden and Greenhouse area and head across to the other part of the island. Look towards the smaller island and shipwreck and place your boat to the left of the grass. Row towards the shipwreck 18 times then let the boat come to a complete stop. There should be some rock formations near them. You should now be over the Tuna.

Swordfish
Go behind the Garden and Greenhouse area and head out to the small island near the shipwreck. Place your boat with the rudder close the edge of the large stone at the end of the island. Row out 10 times towards the tree straight across then let your boat come to a complete stop. The Swordfish should be off the right side of your boat.

Ray
Go back near the larger Carp pond and follow its shore to the left. Head up the hill towards the ocean. Place your boat as best you can as seen in the image and row out 18 times, letting your boat come to a complete stop. You should be over the Rays now. There is a stack of stones near them to help you locate them.

Octopus
At the end of the great wall, head out to the island with a tree on top. Place your boat between the two patches of kelp and row out 5 times. Let your boat come to a complete stop and you should be over the Octopus. They are swimming near some flat stones.

Shark
To the right of the Decoration shop you're going to want to go all the way out to the larger island in the distance, past the Lobster spot. Get onto the larger island and head up over it. You'll find a small pond on top and on the other side you should see a tree. You want to go under that tree. Place the boat as best you can compared to the image. Row out 35 times then let the boat come to a complete stop. You should now be over the shark.

:MMMadness: Huge Tip: Once you find the spot to fish, you can leave a Junk over the fish for easy access.
I do it with Barrels.

Hopefully in the future the developers can add buoy so you can mark the fish.

Also i wish i could throw back fish to the water and dissapear. Because i over fish Basic and Brown in each section.
Its a pain to get rid off.
