1st slot
The first ability slot will dictate which type of ability you will have:

BloodThistle: Throws a lance that stays on the ground. Cooldown: 3
BubbleBloom: Fires a wave attack. Cooldown: 6
CinderRoot: Does AOE to near by enemies. Cooldown: 8
MageLeaf: Fires a bolt. Cooldown: 1

Note: A single ingredient will not have this type of attack. Instead it will be a generic bolt ability as if you only used a MageLeaf. You must use at least 2 ingredients to get the type of attack you want.
2nd Slot
The second slot dictates what the actual ability is. This is a lot more diverse and can have different effects even with the same ingredient. The 2nd slot is the bread and butter for the entire class and is where it gets most complicated.

BloodThistle

BloodThistle+Blood Thistle: Fire a lance. Sticks to the ground and returns to you when hit.

BloodThistle+BubbleBloom: Fires a lance. Sticks to the ground and explodes when hit, applying frostbite to nearby enemies.

BloodThistle+CinderRoot: Fires a lance. Sticks to ground and explodes when hit, applying burning to nearby enemies.

BloodThistle+MageLeaf: Fires x amount of lances (based on ability power) that pierces. Each one sticks to the ground.

======================
BubbleBloom

BubbleBloom+BloodThistle: Hurt yourself, then fire a stronger wave that passes through enemies.

BubbleBloom+BubbleBloom: Fires a wave that passes through enemies and pushes them. Applies frostbite.

BubbleBloom+CinderRoot: Fire the strongest wave that passes through enemies. It loses damage every hit.

BubbleBloom+MageLeaf: Fires a wave that passes through enemies. It then goes backwards hitting the enemy again (inflicting the same amount of damage).

======================
CinderRoot

CinderRoot+BloodThistle: Deal damage to nearby enemies. Inflict feared.

CinderRoot+BubbleBloom: Deal damage to nearby enemies. If they have frostbite, deal an additional hit thats about 2.5x more damage.

CinderRoot+CinderRoot: Deal damage to nearby enemies and inflict burning. If they already have burning, trigger burning explosion.

CinderRoot+MageLeaf: Deal damage to nearby enemies. Killing an enemy reduces this abilities cooldown.

======================
MageLeaf

MageLeaf+BloodThistle: Fires a bolt that deals damage and has 40% chance to restore hp on kill.

MageLeaf+BubbleBloom: Fires a bolt. If target has frostbite, fire 2 more times in random directions.

MageLeaf+CinderRoot: Fires a bolt. If target is burning, they take the same amount of damage again.

MageLeaf+MageLeaf: Fires a bolt. On kill, ability power increases by 15%.
3rd Slot
The third slot just provides an additional modifier based on the type of ingredient.

BloodThistle: Adds on Impaling (Ability Applies wounded).
BubbleBloom: Adds on Rushing. (If ability deals damage to target with status effects, they gain 2 more random status effects).
CinderRoot: Adds on Volatile (If this ability deals damage to a target below 50% hp, the ability crits).
MageLeaf: Adds on Expanding (Activating this ability has a 50% chance to trigger to trigger this ability again after a short delay.
4th Slot
Like the 3rd slot, adds another modifier yet again, but the modifier added on is NOT the same as the third slot. The third slot is required to be filled, so you cannot skip to a 4th slot ability without also having a third slot.

BloodThistle: Adds Demise. (Applies Decay. If target already has decay, applies feared.)
BubbleBloom: Adds Conservation (This ability has 50% more uses).
CinderRoot: Adds Potency. (Ability deals more damage)
MageLeaf: Adds Focus. (Ability Cooldown is reduced by 50%).
Conclusion
As you can tell, there are many ways to theory craft each ability to fit your specific needs. This abilities can be really powerful, but take strategy to plan out ingredients gathering. Overall, don't be intimidated by the class! The possibilities are vast, and if you're the type of player to enjoy complex strategies, then this class will do just that!

Oh my god, so **THAT** finally explains why I just randomly seem to die when playing this class especially lategame when I'm powerful and spamming skills with high speed multiplier. I love the bubblebloom wave abilities, and bloom + thistle = hurt yourself for a stronger wave... I'll be honest, I kinda stopped reading the details after awhile and seem to have missed that one lmfao. Thanks so much, this is so useful!

Any plans on updating this? Some of the information here (such as on frost nova) is outdated

Do you have any suggestions on how to build, in early and late nights? Ex: when to collect herbs vs power up with +exp or +ability damage?

@NorthSouth, It hits the enemy twice. I can edit the guide to make it more clear.

...So BubbleBloom + MageLeaf damages you too? Or do you mean it inflicts damage on enemies twice?
