Thank you for creating this super mode!
The story is fantastic!
Please tell me when if the date when the entire mode is launch?
Because is superb!
Thank you again for creating this mod!
Have a nice day!
I had fun with the second scenario, less so with the first one (Mers-el-Kebir). Naval combat is not the stong point of PzC2.
It is too bad that there isn't an opportunity to use your core force in MeK. Maybe if there was a limited British landing? It wouldn't be historical, but then neither is Darlan's presence in MeK (Gensoul was the admiral).
Jfsial2a's suggestion of integrating the Franco-Thai conflict is very interesting. The difficulty would be in creating Thai units, I suppose, but if it could be done it would be a neat addition, very much in the spirit of your mod.
Thank you for your continued dedication
There were indeed a large naval battle (won by the Vichy State) and several air/land skirmishes along the border between Thailand and Cambodia.
This conflict lasted between Oct 1940 and May 1941. Peace was finally imposed by Japan and Thailand earned some provinces in Western Cambodia (recovered by France after WW2).
But the Indochina scenario bugs me somewhat. Realism is not the same as playability and I find the scenario very restrictive. As a player I would like some influence on deployement and choice of units. Especially if the player has won Mers el Kebir, then it would be reasonable to expect some core units in the next battle. As it is I played, what, 5-6 rounds of Retreat from Indochina and just gave up. In its present form it is not really all that fun to play sadly.
