What is Sombra
Basic information
Combat Style focused on leveraging Raw Physical Proneness against enemies
this combat style use health as resource alongside stamina
its one of the cheapest combat styles in the game
A lot of Results in Sombra/Red Style as a whole are simple
  • Enemy attack you = you take damage
  • You don't block = you have more energy for attacks
  • You win by hitting harder than enemy or managing energy better
  • Sombra often need to recover HP and Energy between fights even as winner
How to Start Sombra?
Start with the Dodge
Dodge allow you to use RNG ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in your favor
as low stat Sombra you have HP to spare and your Agility is least prioritized stat
UpperCut - Best non-tonus Attack
This is attack with best Cost to Damage Ratio in the lategame
making it core attack for every build that want to save color tonus without falling on low damage
You will use it a lot on Green and Red builds because its Affordable and useful
Go with the Block
Unlike green 50% chance to block 90% damage
this will block 80% damage from 1 initiative moves (100% chance)
for 2 innitiative moves you block 50% damage (100% chance)
considering how Cheap in energy this move is, its absolute deal
Early Goal - Double Inhale
Double Inhale
Game take insane Focus on Initiative early
getting 3 and later 4 attacks instead of 2 is huge deal
Double Inhale let you leverage your initiative against your enemies and make sure you will never skip your turn
when you run out of energy your character skip attack and turn
it sux to have to rush for 15 Stamina Early and literally switch entire build for it
However double inhale is the best form of energy management in the game
without it you relay on hope that modifier will give you enough energy for next round
Early Game Sombra
  • you need to go 5/5
  • 4x uppercut + faint
this combination give you all defensive benefits and can be unlocked early
Faint is amazing modifier, economically its much better than entire flycatcher tree
Sombra + Faint should also be good enough to get you to act 3 vs dodging enemies
Mid Game Power
Your enemy block?
Your Enemy Dodge?
Your Enemy Hurts you?
Dodgers under ropes counts as defenseless enemies
SCARaw this is no longer Sombra
i lied it was always torturer
With all seriousness changing combat style is essential mechanic of the game
sure you can Sombra thru everything, but sometimes other styles are better against enemy
even if your build is not cut for everything its still good
Sombra let you win on the budget until you unlock act 3
