He just exists.

Obtainment:

Go to Monofold Level
Save up enough coins for good defenses
At around Tide 15 Boutman frees himself from the cage, but you can free him earlier by destroying the cage.
You must defeat Boutman before he destroys everything

Tips and Tricks:

One of the easiest ways to unlock Boutman is to get help from someone who already has him unlocked, though with recent nerfs and updates, defeating Boutman, or well the Fish if a Boutman Character is in play already is really difficult.

A experienced Sno Sno user can solo defeat Boutman.

You can supposedly get Boutman stuck by the ore.

Using Ria, you can make him aggro a knight and have them run down the ladder to pull him onto a better line. it's how I unlocked him.

I wish to do a proper achievement guide, but I need to catch up with the new achievements, aswell as try to defeat the Fish.

we 3 manned it, 1 sno sno, 2 slappy. gather enough resources to get towers strong enogh to make it through wave 11. withe slappies defending the crystal. use heaters to free bout man at stage 9 we used 2xdouble burn heaters set up walkway with ice perma walls and ice cannons shoot snow to their locations.
