Part III
Now that the turret factory has been reduced to ashes, you and Wheatley need to find a way to do the same to GLaDOS' neurotoxin generator...

Portal Plus is a custom map series with each chapter up to Chapter 5 acting as an alternate version of the main Portal 2 game. These maps are the latest and last in the series.

If you enjoy this map and want to experience more of the series: Please be aware that Chapters 2, 3, and 4 were all made long before this, so do not expect the same level of quality as this map.

Due to personal reasons, Chapter 5 will be the last entry in the Portal Plus series, so once Chapter 5 is fully released, there won't be any more.

This really scratched the portal 2 itch i had. Amazing! Ive played tons of maps and this series is seemingly near the top! Thanks!!

@Scesie - I had that problem with my map - Deadly Exits: Part 2, and fixed it...

I had too many spawned prop_physics items "alive" on my map at the same time. I'm sure your killing all of your spawned items at the end of their "ride", so the only thing you can do is reduce the number of spawned items that are alive on the map at any given time. In my case, I had to reduce the number by ~25% by slowing down my spawn timers. I know it reduces the visual effect you're striving for, but it's better than having your players randomly crashing.

@GreenKnightXVII @Rooke This isn't a problem I'm able to reproduce, and without me knowing exactly what causes it I can't fix it. I know this type of problem is very rare with this map so if you play it again it should be fine. If you encounter the problem again, let me know if you noticed anything else in the map seem unusual and exactly what you did and where you were when you triggered it.

"ED Alloc - No Edicts" trying to climb thru some broken glass in, I think was the 3rd area? :steamsad:

Please fix so I can complete the map... It's so well made. Except for that minor show stopper. :steamfacepalm:

map crashed with no free edicts, after i got past the room with the cubes dropping onto a portal, though it might have been me taking too much time

@asomesos11 originally there was a wire connecting the lever and buttons to the laser but it was cut due to being a massive eyesore. The light on the lever changing colours seemed to be enough for my playtesters to notice it but I can try giving it a beeping noise whenever I update it next

I ended up getting stuck for a short while at the last override because I hadn't realized what had changed when I put the cube into it. I would have appreciated some indication that would bring my attention to the appropriate lever to flip. A trail of sparks or a wire indicating a connection between the two points would have gone a long way I feel.
Overall, very fun little chapter.

maybe the portal surface behind the grating that the piston rushes air against could be lit better? or have portal signage with an arrow? I had no clue a portal could be placed there because it was so dark otherwise good fun. Some quirky uses of things in the puzzles, but it was a fresh take! :p2aperture: :p2wheatley:
