A guide for new players. Learn and adapt.
Before reading this guide, remember these few things:
  • You're not the commander of war.
  • You're not bullet proof.
  • You're not the main character
  • If you're playing this game, you're already dead before you deploy.

Glory to the Heroes
My guides on how to play for beginners, what to do and what to look out for.

Intro
Baku is not your friend.

In the intro mission, your destiny is to die. You must accept that fate. You can't save Baku. You can't save yourself. You will not make it back home to your wife and tell her you love her and your kids will never see you again, so accept your fate.

No matter how hard you try to stop Baku, he will not listen. Accept that he will die, and accept that he will lead you to your inevitable death.

Basic Soldier
You've just been deployed. Here's what you will need to know.

Map's feature large-scale combat, with a focus on intense warfare. You will engage in various forms of combat, including infantry assaults, artillery strikes, and drone usage, depending on your role. You are on Team
BLUE
—friendly fire is active, so be cautious of teammates with BLUE strips.

There is no automatic health regeneration so you must rely on medics and first aid kits to recover health. Be mindful of your surroundings and your squad’s support units to stay alive. YOU ARE DEPENDANT ON YOUR TEAM.

Infantry squads are tasked with holding and defending positions.
Assault squads focus on capturing key areas, marked by a Sword icon, before advancing to the next objective.
Artillery supports your efforts with long-range fire, while AI Tanks advance toward contested zones to gain control.

How do I get ammunition?
When you spawn, you start with your main weapon and one magazine. Additional supplies, like ammunition, medical gear, and water, must be manually equipped from your inventory, which you can access near spawn points. Like village or forest (depending on which character you play, Medic = Forest, Rifleman = Village.)
THIS IS SEPARATE PER MAP.

To reload, you must place compatible magazines in your equipment slots by selecting the magazine in your inventory and choosing RMB - Equip. Be aware that different weapons require different types of ammunition. AK74 is 7×62mm which works for RPK except AKM which uses 7.62×39mm. There is also "Plastic Magazines" on the floor, do NOT pick them up.

What is the shaky hands?
Shaky hands are influenced on your accuracy. The higher your arms are shaking, the less accurate you will be. This stamina decreases when you aim or even just hold your weapon ready. So press X to lower it while walking.
Basic Functions
HYDRATE!!!!!!!!!!
Find water wherever you can, with rifleman and fpv operator, you can find it in your spawned building. If you run out, you WILL die.
Your vision will go blurry, the more you run, the faster you dehydrate, so, do NOT shift run if it's not required. Take it nice and slow. The lower it is, the more your screen will go blurry before lights out.

Looting
You can loot dead bodies, allowing you to take their weapons, hydration, and medications. Loot can also be found at objective points, adding more opportunities for resources. Keep in mind that the only way to replenish supplies back at is back at the deployment area (Village/Boats).
Basic Keys
Bandages
If you are bleeding out, to stop this before you die,
Press I (Inventory key) And find bandages. Right click and click "Equip".
This will stop you from bleeding out and being able to last longer.

Reload
It's similar to stopping yourself from bleeding out.
You open your inventory (default is I), you should have 1 or 2 in there. The amount of numbers it says is how many you have in one. In this case, 4 = 4 magazines. If you have 2, that's 8.
NOTE!!! --> When you deploy, equip your magazines INSTANTLY. You do NOT want to find your magazines in the middle of a gun fight.

Character Roles
Deployment / Character Roles
Hit L-Alt for your mission objective.
  • Infantry
Infantry classes such as the Rifleman and Auto Rifleman spawn in the village with either a AK74, AK47 or RPK.
While Driver spawns with a tank and AKM OUTSIDE the village.

  • Medic / Support
DRG rifleman and support spawn outside of the village further back. Head to the forest near the village. DO NOT SPRINT WHEN
OUTSIDE THE VILLAGE. You will lose thirst before you get there, killing you.

  • Artillery / FPV Operator
FPV Operator and Artillery spawns with the same rifle at the village. Loot from there and head to your designated way point for further instructions.
REMEMBER
IMPORTANT.
  • You are NOT superman. You WILL die.
  • If you do not know if you only have 2 bullets remaining after checking your mag, RELOAD. It will save your life.
  • STICK. TO. YOUR. DEPLOYMENT ORDER.
  • When throwing a grenade, THROW THE GRENADE.
  • Don't draw fire until you are in clear visual of the enemy. Gun fire can be heard from 3 miles away.

  • If you're alive, you're in combat.
  • If you're alive, you're in COMBAT.
  • If you're alive, you ARE IN COMBAT.

  • You're still not the main character. Stop acting like it.

  • Always act smart, even if you're not.
  • Listen very closely. You will need 110% of audio. Drones and Footsteps can be silent until they are shoving a grenade up your ass.

  • Your Intel: You don't have any.
Recoil and Accuracy.
Recoil

Like most tactical shooters or as I like to call them "PTSD Simulators" weapons have little to no bullet spread and instead rely on various recoil subsystems to introduce a randomness component to marksmanship. Recoil follows simple patterns, controlling it will be REQUIRE some brain usage.

All weapons follow some kind of basic recoil pattern. Most weapons, like the AK, DSR, and others simply recoil up and mildly leftward at intensities that vary per weapon.

Full Auto, Burst or Tap fire
DO. NOT. USE. FULL AUTO. Unless you HAVE too. Full Auto will make your life hell suck.

Accuracy
Don't move while shooting. It's as simple as that. LEAN if you're behind something. Crouching WILL BE Necessary. Gun fights in forests will NOT be pretty. (Jungle Warfare)

Accuracy II
If you're moving while aiming down sights, stop it. Your accuracy will be like a 5 year old just got on the game and yelling profanities about how they f**k*d your mother. Stop moving. Stop moving. STOP. MOVING. Your character will show you what happens if you move while aiming down sights. Your sight? Gone. So stay still. It's fine to stay still. But don't be an idiot.
Battle of Izium
Objective Overview:
Battle of Izium is a large-scale map focused on intense ground warfare, with opportunities to utilise artillery, drones, and armored units. BE WARNED. YOU CAN BE KILLED AT ANY GIVEN TIME.
  • Landmine
  • Russian behind Tree
  • Fields are filled with hidden explosives and/or the opposition forces.

Both you and your AI allies will be assigned roles like Rifleman, Assaulter, Anti-Tank, or Artilleryman. These roles are organized into squads, each with a clear objective. When you spawn, you'll automatically be placed in a squad with a shared task. Press L-Alt to view your combat orders for directions and objectives.

Infantry squads will focus on defending key positions throughout the map.
Assault squads will target and capture new areas marked by a Sword icon before advancing to the next objective.
Artillery provides crucial support to ground units, while AI Tanks push toward contested zones to capture critical locations.
Krynky
Welcome to Krynky. Quick decisions ARE REQUIRED to make the difference between life and death. The map features three key objectives that you need to capture

Map Overview:
Fast-Paced Combat: Multiple firefights. You MUST be on alert at ALL times.
Artillery Threat: Artillery is a significant danger on Krynky. Artillery is more prone to damage your surroundings. If you hear it, you are
dead,
so always be mindful of where you’re standing. If you hear the warning or see an artillery strike incoming, take cover immediately.
Increased Drone Use: Drones are more prevalent on this map. If you see a drone, shoot it down, IMMEDIATELY.

Map Objectives:
Krynky features three key objectives that must be captured to push forward:

Objective Alpha - Located in the central area, often a hotspot for intense firefights. This area provides strategic control of the map, so taking it early is key.
Objective Bravo - Positioned near the outskirts, this objective has plenty of cover such as trenches and less likely to be hit with artillery, however is also highly exposed to the oppositions deployment. Hold it down with caution.
Objective Charlie - The furthest objective to get too. Located in an underground bunker 502 meters from deployment area. Also the hardest to get too.

Strategy Tips:
Keep Moving: Sitting in one spot for too long can be deadly. Always be moving, whether it’s to capture objectives, retreating to cover, or repositioning to flank. This WILL save you.
Artillery Awareness: Artillery strikes are a common threat, especially around open areas and choke points. Always be aware of incoming artillery warnings, and when in you hear them go off, find cover in buildings or behind solid structures. AND GET AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE/
Drone Surveillance: Drones will be a constant in the sky. SHOOT THEM DOWN. Otherwise, stay vigilant and avoid staying in one place too long, as drones can spot you from afar.
Key Bind Reminder for Fast-Paced Play:
Lean: Use E and Q to peek around corners, especially when under fire. This allows you to stay mobile and protected while still engaging the enemy.
Switch Fire Mode: Use V to switch between fire modes on your weapons, which can be vital in adjusting to different ranges quickly.
Check Magazine: Use Ctrl + T to quickly check your ammo
Capture Tips:
Objective Alpha: The most vulnerable to artillery and drones, so be fast and strategic. Coordinate with teammates to clear enemies out.
Objective Bravo: More cover but highly close too the opposition forces deployment base.
Objective Charlie: Least vulnerable to drones and artillery strikes, but the hardest to get too.
