Moon Grenade

A functional Moon Grenade SWEP, made for TTT but should also (mostly) work in Sandbox.


First and foremost, this wonderful add-on. Thank you to ruiner189 (and anyone else that helped to put moonballs into Gmod). A lot of the functionality comes from this.

Blagged the models/animations from this. This add-on was a good foundation to work from, cheers.



Probably just how you think it would!

You pick up the nade (it can be found randomly throughout a map but also can be bought by Detectives and Traitors (also by Killers and Mercs if you have the custom roles add-on)) pull the pin and throw it.

Once the fuse is done the grenade will explode into 12 high-velocity moon balls that fire out every which way.
Near useless in the open but deadly in confined spaces!

If you cook the nade for too long it will blow up in your hands!

If you have the TTT moonball add-on and you're using this grenade in TTT the moonballs the 'nade produces can be picked up just like regular moonballs.

Occupies the grenade slot for TTT.
