Description
These vehicles were developed and manufactured by Hitachi Ltd as the UK's next generation of high-speed trains,
The most distinctive feature of this train is that it is a dual-mode EDC, with overhead line power collection on electrified sections and power from a diesel generator on non-electrified sections.
The main feature of this train is that it is a Bi-mode train.
The cars used on the London North Eastern Railway were named’AZUMA’.
