1212 No Pop Limit for Unit Recruitment (Updated)

ATTENTION: I have done a lot of testing and have come to the conclusion that I am getting the glitch where the 9th resource pack for the 1212 mod is causing the rest to not work. This means that I will take a break from Attila as a whole. I might check my mods now and then but for now I'm done with Attila, I hope my mods continue to work for people and I would like to thank everyone who installed them. If there is an update that makes my mods not work then that is unfortunately where they will have to end.

This mod was made as a request and it is once again a recreation of a mod that no longer works by Stylianos_V.

This mod should be save game compatible and this mod does exactly what the title says. I tried it in my own game and was able to recruit 19 units of knights from a city that only had 223 noblemen in the recruit pool. Also, once I was done recruiting there was still 223 noblemen in the pool so I'm assuming it works.

I had to install and look at Stylianos_V's mod to make this one so all credit goes to them.

I have this mod and my other ones at the bottom of my mod list if you need to know the load order.

If you have any issues just let me know in the comments and worst comes to worse I'll just put in this mod description how it was made.

@The Kingz I'm sorry to hear that, can you tell me more about the other mods you are using? Can you load the Medieval Mods at all, is only campaign that gives this issue, have you tried reloading an earlier save?

You might be getting the same issue as me if you can't load the Medieval Mod at all.

well one of your mods ig 1 turn recruitment mod destroyed my game whenever i start campaign game crashes even after i deleted your mod this still occurs, can you help me with that by any chance? :thehuns:

Still works as of January 2025. Should work if you load this first/before the scripts pack

Mod suddenly stopped working no matter it's load order.

@CanAKSss I'm sure you've forgotten about this but who are you playing as? Also, can you check to make sure that you are able to recruit them?

@Bobby Ben I truly have no idea, I'm not sure if they ever had this restriction to begin with. But I edited the only file that touches unit recruitment based on population so it should work for both if the AI does have the restriction.

Alright. One question. This submod works for AI too? I mean if AI can recruit knights without loosing Noble population?

@SqueakyCini and @Bobby Ben I have already made an updated version of the 1-turn recruitment mod. I have also created a mod that removes casualties from weather attrition. You can get save parser if you need to have 4 turns per year, which is how I did it for myself.
