Intro.
Stuck on that last item and you're going out of you mind trying to find it? Or do you have that last item but you don't know where it goes? There's a good chance this guide will point you in the right direction! Don't forget to rate this guide if you found it helpful.
Yellow Room
The Yellow Room has 4 items that need to be found elsewhere and brought here. Every other yellow item that needs to be placed can be found in this room, and will not be included in this guide.

The first item is the Yellow Computer Chair found behind the bar in the Cafeteria.

The second item is the Globe which is found right outside the Red Room where the 3 Egg exhibit is.

The third and fourth items are both wooden chairs. The first is found just past the T-Rex between the entrances to the West Wing and the Dark Room.

The second chair is on the second floor overlooking the entrance of the Museum.

Red Room
The Red Room has 5 items that need to be found elsewhere, all the other exhibits that need to be placed can be found in this room and will not be covered.

Of the 5 items, 4 of them are chairs. So we'll start with the table first.

Which should be one of the first items you see when you start the level as it's right outside the door to the Yellow Room.

The first chair is easily seen as it's right underneath the giant T-Rex

The second chair is found in one of the corners of the Duck Room.

The third chair is found hidden in the Dark Room Maze.

The last chair will be the last chair you can get to because it requires you to get into the cafeteria. It's flat against the double doors on the inside.
T-Rex
The T-Rex has the most amount of pieces you need to track down with a grand total of 9 missing parts.

We'll start with the jaw which is directly underneath the T-Rex itself, and I absolutely didn't need to ask help to find it the first time. >.>

Next is the missing toe bone which is found impaled in a body hanging out an open door. You can find the stairway up to this man in the Duck Room.

The back foot claw is also found impaled in a body with the Shield evidence, but the bad news is it's in the Dark Room maze.

This missing arm is found next to a body on the Lion Statue in the West Wing.

The leg bone can be found in the toilet of the Yellow Room.

The tail has two parts and you need to find the inner part first, which can be found on the second floor all the way at the end of the hall opposite of the cafeteria entrance.

The outer part of the tail is found in with the Band which is part of the West Wing.

The foot bone is found insde the Dual Doors dubbed "The Illusion of Choice".

And finally the rib bone is found on the floor in the middle of the Duck Room.

West Wing
The West Wing is split into two areas, History and Music. We'll be starting with the History section first. There are some pieces that can be found directly in this area and will not be covered in this guide.

The Egyptian Bust is found in the Northern Exhibition room with the Stegosaurus.

Bust #1 I don't know the name of is in the Central Exhibition outside the Duck Room.

Bust #2 I don't know the name of is at the far end of the Central Exhibition past the West Wing and the Dark Room, up the stairs near the wall.

The statue of grasping hands is on the suspended table in the Red Room.

The Star Sphere is on the floor right next to the entrance of the West Wing.

The Doughnut Statue is in the Music Section of the West Wing on top of one of the glass exhibits. I this is an exception to what I said earlier because of how easily missable it is.

The last spherical statue is found in the the basketball net of The Dark Room. Fortunately no maze this time.

Of the 4 musical items that need to be sought out for the band on the stage in the Music portion of the West Wing, the crash cymbal is found directly behind the stage and the snare drum is in the hallway directly behind the stage. I did not screenshot these for the purpose of this guide.

That leaves the guitar which is found next to the Yellow Computer Chair behind the bar in the Cafeteria.

Then the highhat which is found right outside the Red Room.

Last few items.
The only items left are a couple statues for the Central Exhibition and second floor, a few paintings and an overlooked chair for the Cafeteria.

When it comes to the paintings, the frameless paintings all go on the first floor, all located in the entry way of the Museum and the framed paintings go on the second floor in the walkway above the entrance of the Museum. Not every painting will be included in this guide because most of them fell right below where they're hung.

The first painting is found right outside the West Wing. Hang it anywhere as long as it's on the second floor.

The second painting is found on the first floor of the cafeteria on some chairs. Hang it anywhere on the second floor.

The third painting is between a statue and the wall on the second floor. I made an exception for this painting because it's easily missable. Hang it anywhere on the second floor.

The fourth painting is blocking the door to the Northern Exhibition room with the Stegosaurus. Hang it anywhere on the first floor.

The fifth and final painting for this guide is just behind the T-Rex statue (not the Skeleton) that had fallen over and killed someone. (body not included in screenshot) Place it anywhere on the first floor.

Of the 3 statues I put in this section of the guide, two are in the Central Exhibition and the third is on the second floor next to the door leading to a employee work area.

The first is the Egg, which is technically on the floor beneath where it goes, I make an exception to bring this up because it's possible to knock it away while mopping around it.

The second statue is a small leaf which can be found in the on the floor in the middle of the Duck Room.

The last statue is an Antelope which is found in the Yellow Room, and goes to the second floor.

And finally, I bring up the one pieces of furniture that exists outside the Cafeteria. It is right next to the two doors named "The Illusion of Choice"

Outro
That concludes this guide. I hope you found it helpful. If I forgot something, or you just absolutely canNOT find an item I chose not to list, feel free to leave a comment and I'll guide you to what you're missing.

Thanks for reading.
Nightmare Map
I find the Nightmare version of this map to be easier than the vanilla version. We have an overall smaller map so there's more items to find more closely clustered together. The main gimmick of this map is the portals used to get around to the various section of the Museum, all connected by a central hub. Starting with the portal you first come through going in clockwise order the portals are as follows:

Portal #1: Central Exhibition, black marble door frame, this is the first portal you come out of.
Portal #2: Furniture Exhibition, white door frame.
Portal #3: Cafeteria, black and white door frame.
Portal #4: Duck Room, red door frame.
Portal #5: Music Room, granite door frame.
Portal #6: Upper Passage, blue door frame.
Portal #7: Sewage Room, rusted door frame.
Portal #8: Ancient Exhibition, green door frame.

Going through a portal from any of these rooms will always return you to the hub.

As before, I'll be detailing where everything goes room by room.
Nightmare - Central Exhibitioin.
The only thing you need to find for this starting are paintings that have no border. There are 10 borderless paintings to find that are placed along the walls.

Painting 1: The first painting is found in the Central Exhibition itself.

Painting 2: The second painting is in the Magic Doors area. Go through the Cafeteria portal and turn around.

Painting 3: Also technically in the Magic Doors section, however you'll need to go through the Duck Portal instead, go up the set of stairs and the painting will be in the hallway through the door on the right.

Painting 4: This painting is found on the floor in the middle of the main Music Exhibition. (don't forget to open the doors from the Music Exhibition to the Central Exhibition)

Painting 5: This is also found in the Music Exhibition on the stage with the red mannequins. If it's not there, look behind the stage I think sometimes can clip into the stage curtain.

Painting 6: Still technically in the Music Exhibition. There is a side door in the security office that leads to what looks like an African Exhibition. The painting will be in the middle of the room. The portal is a one way portal that only leads back to the hub.

Painting 7: Upper passage against the wall in the Portal area.

Painting 8: Upper Passage just over the walkway, you'll probably see this one first as you come out of the portal.

Painting 9: Upper Passage in the side room with the dead body.

Painting 10: Ancient Exhibition. Up the stairs in the back near a dead body.

Nightmare - Furniture Exhibition, White Furniature.
This exhibition is broken into two parts. The White Furniture and Yellow Furniture.

There are 5 White Chairs to find, 6 are standard wooden ones, the other is a lawn chair that will also need 2 white pillows. And finally 3 table of varying design to find.

We'll start with the chairs.

Chair #1: Cafeteria up stairs. Out in the open.

Pillow #1: On the floor right in front of the portal as you walk through

Pillow #2 In the Blue Room of the Furniture Exhibition, go up the ladder and find this one on the bed.

Chair #2: Magic Doors stall in the women's bathroom.

Chair #3: In the Duck Room with a Yellow Chair.

Chair #4: Music Exhibition in the Security Room.

Chair #5:Sewage Exhibition across the room behind the portal. (take a moment to open both doors leading into the Ancient Exhibition)

Chair #6 In the Ancient Exhibition across from the T-Rex.

Small White Nightstand: Easily spotted in the Central Exhibition.

Small White Roundtable: In the Duck Room up the stairs with a Pharaoh Bust sitting on top it.

White round table: Upper passage all the way at the end near the statues. (since you're here, might as well open up the door to the Ancient Exhibition)

Nightmare - Furniture Exhibition, Yellow Furniture.
We continue with the Furniture Exhibition. There are 4 wooden chairs, 1 computer chair, a pot, a globe and a table.

Chair #1 In the Blue Room itself, just look up.

Chair #2 Found in the Duck Room with a White Chair.

Chair #3 Upper Passage in a side room with a dead body sitting on top.

Chair #4 You'll see it as soon as you walk through the Ancient Exhibition portal.

Pot: In the bathroom of the Blue Room with a Feather Statue inside it.

Globe: Music Exhibition, in the trashcan behind the backdoor to the stage.

Yellow Computer Chair: In the security office behind the Music Exhibition.

Yellow Round Table. Across the room behind the Sewage Exhibition portal.

Nightmare - Music Exhibition
Most of what there is to do here is finding instruments and picking up the fallen over displays and mannequins. There is one special painting that is exclusive to this room.

Red Painting: Ancient Exhibition immediately to your right as you walk through the portal.

White Guitar: Found in the Music Exhibition room itself right next to the portal you walkthrough.

Brown Guitar: Found with the T-Rex.

Snare Drum: Start with this because slipping this past the Cybmbol is a major pain. It's right in the doorway of the African Exhibition just off the Security Room of the Music Exhibition.

Tall Cymbal #1: Tucked in a corner just inside the Music Exhibition.

Short Cybal: Again go for this one before doing the next tall cybal, it'll make things easier. This is found in the Ancient Exhibition near the tail end of the T-Rex.

Tall Cybal #2: You stumble into this one when you open the door to the security room from the backstage area.

Black Computer Chair: You've probably spotted this one when you were putting the Yellow Computer Chair away. You're basically swapping spots.

Both Masks go in the African Exhibition Room behind the security room.

Mask #1: The first mask is found on one of the suspended White Tables.

Mask #2: The second mask is at the end of the upper hallways of the Magic Doors area accessable through the Duck Room.

Are you at19/20 furniture pieces and you cannot figure out what it is? It's the folding chair.

Nightmare - Upper Passage
The Upper Passage is a mixture of paintings with wood frames and paintings metal frames.

As well as a few small animal based statues.

We'll start with the 12 wood framed paintings. These go on the wall in the immediate area around the portal.

Wood framed painting: #1 The first painting is at your feet as soon you as you walk through the Upper Passage portal.

Wood framed painting: #2 This one is just inside the side area where you found a dead body sitting on a Yellow Chair.

Wood framed painting: #3 In the Central Exhibition where the front doors should be.

Wood framed painting: #4 On top of one of the suspended White dressers.

Wood framed painting: #5 In the Cafetereia at the far end of the room under the $ balloon.

Wood framed painting: #6 On the Cafeteria wall behind the counter.

Wood framed painting: #7 In the Magic Doors area, behind the "Illusion of Choice" art exhibit.

Wood framed painting: #8 In the Duck Room immediately to your left as you walk through the portal.

Wood framed painting: #9 In the Sewage Exhibition. You should see this one as you walk through the portal. Good luck getting to it.

The next three are all in the Ancients Exhibition.

Wood framed painting: #10 Directly BEHIND the portal.

Wood framed painting: #11 Hangong on the wall you should see it as you walk out of the first room of the Ancients Exhibition.

Wood framed painting: #12 At the feet of the T-Rex.

Next up is the Metal framed paintings. Fortunately, there aren't nearly as many of them as the Wood frames. These will go at the end of the area with an extra painting going right in front of the Ancient Exhibition door.

Metal framed painting #1: Hanging on the wall in the Blue Room with the Yellow Furniture.

Metal framed painting #2: Upper Passage where all the Animal Statues need to go.

Metal framed painting #3: Immediately to your left as you walk through the Music Exhibition portal.

Metal framed painting #4: Under the stairs in the security room of the Music Exhibition.

Metal framed painting #5: This last one is found in the main Ancients Exhibition room right in front of the giant lion statue.

4 Animal Statues is all we have left in this area.

Lion: Found on the music stage.

Gazelle: On the counter in the Cafeteria.

Elephant: Upstairs Cafeteria on a small table.

Horse: Between the two doors of the Illusion of Choice art in the Magic Doors area.

Nightmare - Ancient Exhibition, History area.
The biggeest area with the most amount of items to find. We'll be taking this one section at a time. This first part will be the History area, all the fossils will be in part 2.

We'll start with the 3 Egypt Statues.

Pharaoh statue: Honestly, the most annoying to find because it slipped down between the displays. Easily overlooked. You can see it in the above picture.

Pharaoh bust: You probably picked this up when you grabbed the White Table in the Duck Room.

Horus statue: Just outside along the back wall by the T-Rex.

The two statue display that goes on either side of the giant metal mask.

Hands statue: On top of a door frame in Magic Doors.

Split face mask: To your right as you walk through the portal to the Duck Room.

Next is the two statues on either side of the giant lion statue.

Loose Knot statue: You'll see this first thing when you start the map in the Central Exhibition.

Bull Statue: In a cubby hole in the Blue Room with the Yellow Furniture.

Next is the 6 statues of varying artistic design. For ease of description I'll number them 1-6 going left to right.

Statue #1: In the basketball hoop in the Sewage Exhibition.

Statue #2: Behind the locked gate in the Sewage Exhibition. The code is turn all the TV's green

Statue #3 on the floor of the Music Exhibition.

Statue #4 On the table in the security room of the Music Exhibition areea.

Statue #5: In the African Exhibition of the Music Exhibition area.

Statue #6: Outside where the leaf statues are supposed to go by the T-Rex.

Next is the Human statue/busts. Again I'll be numbering them 1-6 from left to right.

Statue #1: Found at the end of the hall way by the Animal Statue displays.

Statue #2: Found on a table in the Cafeteria.

Statue #3: Same as statue #1

Statue #4: In the last stall of the men's bathroom in the Magic Doors area.

Statue #5: Found in a plant ;pot to your immediate left upon entering the Magic Doors area.

Statue #6: Found under some pipes in the Sewage Exhibition.

Nightmare - Ancient Exhibition, Fossils.
Continuing on this is where all the dino bones, skulls, eggs and bits of flora belong. If we did this correctly, this will be the final area.

First up is the large dino skulls. 1-3 left to right.

Skull #1: On the floor directly at your feet when you walk through the Upper Passage portal.

Skull #2: You'll see it as soon as you walk into the security area of the Music Exhibition.

Skull #3: On the table in the Blue Room with the Yellow Furniture.

Next is the small skull display on the opposite side of the large skull display.

Small Skull #1: On the floor in the History section of the Ancient Exhibition.

Small Skull #2: In a brazier in the African Exhibit behind the security room.

Small Skull #3 Found on a display in the Music Exhibition.

Dino Eggs are next. The order doesn't matter.

Egg #1: On a table on the left side of the Magic Doors area.

Egg #2: In the locked area of the Sewage Exhibition (you should've opened this already for a previous needed item).

Egg #3: All the way up the steps under a small dino in the Ancient Exhibition.

This is the back wall of displays. Again numbered in order 1-5.

Statue #1: On a suspended White Table.

Statue #2: In the dark next to the front doors of the Central Exhibition.

Statue #3: On the couch in the Men's Bathroon of the Magic Doors area.

Statue #4: To your immediate right when you walk through the Cafeteria portal.

Statue #5: Immediately at your feet when you walk through the Upper Passage portal.

Leaf statues are next. Only 3 and one of them is very close by.

Leaf #1: Right where the large dino skulls are supposed to go.

Leaf #2: In the bathroom of the Blue Room. You'll see this when you pick up the Yellow Pot.

Leaf #3: Being hugged by the dead body in the upstairs Cafeteria.

And finally, I saved the T-Rex for last.

Bone #1 Grab this one first, the tail is broken into two parts and you can't place the end part without this part.

Bone #2: In the Portal Hub.

Bone #3: On the floor as soon as you walk into the Magic Doors area.

Bone #4: Sticking out of a jar in Duck Room.

Bone #5: The drummer on the music stage will be holding this.

Bone #6 Buried in the body in the side room of the Upper Passage.

Bone #7 On the floor in the Upper Passage.

Bone #8 On the floor to your right as soon as you walk through the Ancient Exhibition portal.

Bone #9: Being held by a small dino up the stairs of the Fossil area of the Ancient Exhibition.

And that's it. Assuming we both did things correctly, that's all the museum exhibits back where they belong.

Then you knocked it off and it's most likely on the floor. But that table is its natural starting position.

Music exhibition is missing the bass (back, near the drums) guitar. No clue where it is. Thank you for your effort though.

Updated for the Nightmare patch.
