pick the pavement/garden/black ants and click save slot 'A' pick either start at 10 ants or the normal with no settings. press 'info'(when your in the game) and make sure each bar isnt yellow, check them to know what one to fill when it goes yellow if its red, be careful and feed them when possible carbs(for most ants other than harvester ant and leaf cutter ant) feed them sugar water,honey or jelly
protien(for most ants other than harvester ant and leaf cutter ant) feed them life food or not (protien jelly is the non-meat option)

you get bug bucks from battles (if you win) and ants hatching, when you get food for your ants, you loose the amount it says

real life info? Formica rufa doesnt lay eggs for the first 16 weeks of finding a fusca colony, it oofs a few and rubs the dead ants scent on itself, so the workers dont oof her, if this is succsessful, she can get food from the workers and soon start laying eggs +add more+

make sure the formica fusca colony grows a little before switching to rufa, there is a small tutorial, but there should be 2 buttons, leave at least 10 workers and 4 pupa to help the fusca colony to not die, same with the rufa colony, when 16 weeks passes, there should be 100+ eggs laid by the queen
a few weeks later, some will turn into larvae then pupae. +add more+

there are battles for bug bucks that you can do, the green side is your chances of surviving and the red is the enemy, the higher you bet, the most likely you are to oof/d1e +add more+

mould starts when you leave food there for too long, if its in a nest, create a new nest and if they move into the new nest, you can delete the old nest, with other parts, delete whats attached to them if possible and then delete it
