Getting the final achievement without cheating would take hundreds of hours of afking (about 3 of 'em), even with an autoclicker so here's how to cut that all the way down to less than an afternoon worth.

What you will need
- Cheat Engine (any version):
Just google it, click the first link and download and install. You can skip the tutorial.
- Any autoclicker:
Anything will work, I personally used the classic autoclicker-3.0.exe
The method
All you have to do is select the game's window in Cheat Engine and enable the speedhack feature in the main window. Try setting the speed to 500x and lower it if it lags your pc. In my run, the game never crashed.

Now that the game runs this fast, the opening animation lasts barely a second. All you have to do is to make your autoclicker as fast as possible and put it on the open/sell all button and wait about 4 hours. By then you should get the achievement.
No need to thank me
but i'll still take it for saving you 300 hours of pc runtime

Yeah, I'm not surprised that a random update would break something in a game with such high "quality standards" (though the update was on Steam's end, all the same). I don't personally resent the dev for not attempting to fix the issue, it's a meme achievement and one that most people get by cheating, after all.

Good to hear that you could get the cheev nonetheless - and good luck to anyone else that'll try to beat the glitches to get it lmao.

Update: Managed to get the achievement using speedhack and autoclicker. It stopped counting once, but restarting the game allowed to continue counting. The secret for me was to not stop pressing, it didn't stop counting if I didn't take a pause. If I would take a pause, it would stop

Another person said their counting broke around 27k, can't confirm or deny. Mine worked because I did all from 10k in one go

Developer commented on this issue on steam discussions. They said they spent a good amount of time chasing what caused that issue, and they think it's a change on steam servers which they say they can't fix, and changing game code will require too much work from them, so they just said to refund. Problem is, steam no longer tracks achievement status after a while, I counted it to be approximately 1000 after you launch the game. And the game it self does not count this number, it actually just checks your steam achievement status on launch.

Personally I think it's a copeout by the dev, it's possible to fix in many ways. But they have been dismissive of achievement hunters from the beginning, so no surprises.

That seems strange, perhaps Steam now has some sort of anticheat measure in place but I doubt it since I've used the same method in other games in the meantime and never had any problems.

It's possible that the game underwent a minor update that broke something (since it's unlikely the dev would try to limit cheating on such a dumb achievement). Maybe this was always a possibility and some people just get unlucky ?

Not much I can tell you anyways.

This steam issue is a new issue, might now have been present a year ago, but I confirm. steam just does not update the progress anymore after some time

I never had that issue, there might just be some delay before the progress displays.

Steam isn't updating the progress made towards the achievement while using this :(

I've never had any problems with CE version 7.5, on up-to-date Windows 10, NVIDIA GPU and AMD Ryzen CPU.

I believe that you're not doing anything wrong, but maybe your installed version is in conflict with your PC software/hardware specifics.

This has a bunch of fixes that helped other people: https://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=551265

I'd recommend at least trying an older version of CE, otherwise just move on from this achievement or maybe get it in the future, on a different computer.

Not sure what I did differently this time. Still didn't work, but I at least got an error message. "Unhandled exception: Failure setting speed (Exception class Exception) The current table has been saved to ExceptionAutoSave_5.6ICBING.ct

Then there's some Lua Engine code script too, but my comment is too long.

Ultimately, I don't know what any of this means other than that something is wrong.

There's no issue with crashing (yet). It just doesn't do anything. I have the game open, I press the computer icon on the cheat engine. I choose the ICBING file (I tried selecting it from all 3 tabs on individual tries), I click the speedhack button, I crank it to 500, I press apply. Nothing. I close the game and reopen it. Try again, nothing, but I do get this error code.

Anyway, if I'm a lost cause I can just give up. I don't really care about getting the achievement that badly.
