Introduction
About Me
▶ Hello! My name is Filip, and I’m a 17-year-old pyrotechnics enthusiast from Romania. My passion for this hobby started a few years ago.It all began when I watched my uncle and some friends light up small firecrackers — those thin scratch-head ones that create a bang like a pebble hitting the ground. You could even hold one and blast it in your hand without any harm.

I watched those little cardboard tubes burn for a few moments before they popped and made a loud bang. In that instant, I was hooked, and I knew I wanted to make this a regular part of my life, not just something reserved for New Year's Eve.

That initial spark of curiosity soon turned into a strong passion. I started diving into the world of pyrotechnics, learning from experienced people and licensed pyrotechnicians from Romania and other countries. Through these connections and my own research, I've learned about the structure, workings, and how to get pyrotechnic materials, building a solid understanding of both the theory and practice in this amazing field.

Want to see BIG BOOM ?
▶ Throughout my journey, I also watched tons of videos and discovered some amazing content creators in the pyrotechnics world. One of my favorites is TheOftler. He's the undisputed king of explosions. Whether you’re just looking for loud bangs, trying to figure out what to buy, or you’re already an expert wanting to learn about the latest products, he’s the go-to guy.

Keep in mind that most of the firecrackers featured in his videos, especially the large and intimidating ones shown in the thumbnails, are nearly impossible to obtain. This is due to two main reasons:
  • First, they are professional-grade, so you need a pyrotechnician license to buy them legally from the official manufacturer. (If you’re reading this, you likely aren’t a licensed pyrotechnician.)
  • Second, these items are very rare and highly sought after—similar to rare skins in CS.With low supply and extremely high demand, they are both expensive and difficult to acquire.

Another great content creator you should check out is PirotehniceRomania. He’s a Romanian professional with extensive training in handling pyrotechnic materials, and his commitment to posting new content weekly or biweekly is impressive.

I had the chance to speak with him almost two years ago, and I jokingly asked if he could give me some free fireworks. He kindly explained that the ones featured in his videos are not safe for the general public, especially for kids. However, he did point me to a reputable Romanian seller, which led me to my first "big" batch of pyrotechnics. I’m truly grateful for his help.

Why am I writing this guide ?
▶ I’ve always loved sharing what I know with others, and being part of the pyrotechnics community has inspired me to give back. My passion for fireworks naturally brought me to Pyroworks, a game that does an amazing job of simulating fireworks displays. This guide is my way of blending my real-life pyrotechnics passion with the game, helping others learn and have fun with both.

With all of these being said,we can finally begin with the ✨fun✨stuff.

(P.S. I recommend you play the game yourself ,you will get a better insight on how these things work if you've actually done it - even if "done" it means virtually)
