This guide will show you everything from A - Z within the game.

Once you have started the game, these are things to note:

  • UI:




    • The purple bar on the left is the experience bar that also shows the players level.
    • The top red bar is the players health bar.
    • The bottom blue bar is the players shield bar, the shield regenerates after a while when the player is not taking damage.




    • The player abilities appear below the experience bar at the start of the game.
    • The active item appears below the abilities icon after the player picks it up.
    * The bar is white when the item is ready to use and turns yellow when regenerating.


    Shows how many dashes the player has and when the dash has regenerated.

    Shows ammo count.

    Shows gameplay time.

    Shows how many keys the player has.

    Shows how many enemies the player killed.

    Shows how many crystals the player collected.


    • The large red bar is the summoning bar. Killing enemies fills the bar, once filled the boss appears and the summoning bar turns into the boss health bar.
    • The grey bar below the enemies bar indicates the depth.


  • Crystals: There are two kinds of crystals, blue crystals used as currency in the shop and golden crystals that are used for an event and is only found in walls. Blue Crystals are found around the map in walls that are mined by melee-ing the wall. Some crystals are found in mine carts that the player melees, and some crystals are dropped by enemies.



  • Shop: Player buys items with blue crystals that are only sold in the shop as well as buying keys to open chests that spawn randomly around the map and Dice to help reroll items as the player levels up.
Indicators
  • Indicators: Indicators appear on screen when the player locates a chest, boss, exit, event, shop, and challenges as well indicate where the mice team are.

    Down Indicator: Indicates the direction of the Exit.
    Chest Indicator: Indicates the direction of the Chest.
    Shop Indicator: Indicates the direction of the Shop.
    Boss Orb Indicator: Indicates the boss's orb after it's defeat.
    Mice Indicator: Indicates the direction of the player's mice team.
    Altar indicator: Indicates the direction of the Altar.
    Boss Indicator: Indicates the direction of the Boss.
    Challenge Stone Indicator: Indicates the direction of the Challenge Stone.
    Obelisk Indicator: Indicates the direction of the Obelisk.
    L.M.R Indicator: Indicates the direction of the L.M.R.
    Automated Miner Indicator: Indicates the direction of the Automated Miner.
    Cluster Indicator: Indicates the direction of the cluster.
Active Items
  • Active Items: Active Items are items that you get in chests that you unlock through keys that you pick up in game. Sometimes enemies drop keys, sometimes bosses drop keys or you can buy keys from the store.

    Detpack: Drops an explosive that deals high damage to enemies and walls.
    Medallion: Automatically protects the player from death once and shatters upon use.
    Medkit: Fully restores the players HP and Shield.
    Nuke Launcher: Shoots a nuke that is annihilates enemies and players if not careful.
    Salvo: Fire a salvo of uncontrolled rockets.
    Starfall: Become a star and slam into the ground dealing high damage to enemies.
    Unending Elixir: Heals the player instantly for 25% HP and 25% HP over 5 seconds.
    Underworld Band: Wards off Excavurms and similar creatures.

    *Small chests require 1 key
    *Large Chests require 3 keys
Power Up Orbs
  • Power Up Orbs: Power Up Orbs drop randomly in the run and help boost the players gameplay, each one is different and runs for 15 seconds. The player could also get an item that can make them last twice as long.

    Unlimited Dashes: Gives the player unlimited dashes.
    Electric Overload: A bolt of lightning hits enemies.
    Hyperactive: Player actions are sped up.
    Acceleration: Players abilities and active items recharge faster.
    Iron Skin: Player takes less damage.
    Companions: Gives the player companions.
    Regeneration: Regenerates players health.
    Crystal Vacuum: Attracts crystals and keys towards the player from the entire floor.
    Crystal Rain: Rains crystals.
    Triple Damage: Triples the damage dealt by the player.
    Turrets: Places a ring of turrets around the player.
Events
  • Events: Events randomly appear on each floor which the player can complete in order to receive crystals and keys.

    • Challenge Stone Event: Challenge stone randomly appear in game and have two challenge types. The player must avoid getting hit or the player must kill all the enemies within the ring and avoid getting hit.


    • Automated Miner Event: Defend the miner as much as possible from the threat of magma slimes to clear the event.


    • Spectral Obelisk Event: A large column that spawns Spectres that attack the player. Attack the Obelisk to clear the event.


    • Lost Miner Robot Event: Collect special crystals "golden crystals" only found in walls to fill the robots bar to clear the event.


    • Cluster: Large Crystal that the player must attack and dodge it's attacks to clear the event.
Altars
  • Altars: Altars are stone carvings that bear a marking that is either good or bad for the player.

    Altar Of Chance: Has a chance to give a random positive or negative effect to the player.

    Altar Of Chaos: Rerolls a player's weapon stats

    Altar Of Duplication: Adds a second boss in exchange for extra pickups

    Altar Of Sacrifice: Lowers the players health and increases damage.

    Altar Of Merchants: Pay crystals for a random chest.
Level Mods
  • As the player descends the depths, mods randomly appear to challenge the player.

    • "They Rise Again": Enemies respawn as spirits.

    • "The Sky is Burning": Meteors drop from the sky.

    • "These Walls Look Strange": When the player breaks a wall they rebuild.

    • "They Swarm": More enemies spawn.

    • "Evil Gives Speed": Enemies move faster.

    • "Something is Falling From The Sky": Enemes fall from the sky.

    • "Power Overwhelming": More Elites than normal enemies.

    • "They Burn": Enemies explode after death.
Elite Enemy Powers
  • Elites: Enemies that are tougher than normal enemies and have abilites that can do serious damage.

    • Beamers: They throw beams towards the player.

    • Teleporters: They swap positions with the player.

    • Wall Builders: They build walls randomly around the player.

    • Meteor Bringers: They call meteors to drop from the sky near the player.

    • Time Slowers: They slow down player bullets.


      *These icons appear above the enemies head making them Elites.
Gameplay Mode
  • There are two types of gameplay mode in the game:
    *Each mode has a 'Normal' run, a 'Daily' run: Can only be run once a day, and a 'Weekly' run: Resets weekly.



    • Classic Mode: To sum it up in 1 word "Roguelike". The player starts with no upgrades and starts the run as normal.


    • Evolution Mode: Basically "Roguelite". There are upgrades the player can add points to before the start of the run.



      • Essence: Collected after a run and is used as currency to upgrade.

      • Maximum Upgrades: The player can increase the maximum allowed upgrades by 1 per upgrade point.



      • Health: Increase your starting maximum Hitpoints by 20% per upgrade point.
      • Shields: Increase your starting maximum Shield by 25% per upgrade point.
      • Damage Reduction: Increase your Damage Reduction by 5% per upgrade point.
      • Health Regen: Increase your Health Regen by 2HP Every 5 seconds per upgrade point.
      • Restoration: When taking damage Heal 25% of Damage taken over 5 seconds.
      • Shield Overdrive: Your Health Regen now also apples to your Shields.




        * The player must add at least 10 points to the first 4 upgrades which unlocks the last 2 upgrades that the player can only choose 1 of.


      • Dash: Decrease Dash Cooldown by 0.5 seconds per upgrade point.
      • Experience: Increase your Experience Gained by 10% per upgrade point.
      • Crystals: Increase your Crystals Recieved per pick up by 1 per upgrade point.
      • Digging: Increase your Digging Power by 100% per updgrade point.
      • Dash Boost: After Dashing increase your Movement Speed by 50% for 3 seconds.
      • Chain Reaction: When mining Crystals gain a 5% chance to Mine All Connected Crystals.




        * The player must add at least 10 points to the first 4 upgrades which unlocks the last 2 upgrades that the player can only choose 1 of.

      • Ranged Damage: Increase your Ranged Damage by 20% per upgrade point.
      • Ranged Speed: Increase your Ranged Fire Rate by 20% per upgrade point.
      • Magazine Size: Increase your Ranged Magazine Size by 25% per upgrade point.
      • Critical Hit Chance: Increase your Critical Hit Chance by 5% per upgrade point.
      • Railgun: When Firing You Ranged Weapon gain a 10% chance to fire a Railgun Round dealing 500% damage.
      • Critical Advance: After dealing a Ranged Critical Hit your ranged damage is increased by 25% for 5 seconds.




        * The player must add at least 10 points to the first 4 upgrades which unlocks the last 2 upgrades that the player can only choose 1 of.


      • Melee Damage: Increase your Melee Damage by 30% per upgrade point.
      • Melee Speed: Increase your Melee Speed by 10% per upgrade point.
      • Knockback: Increase your Melee Knockback by 25% per upgrade point.
      • Critical Hit Damage: Increase your Critical Hit Damage by 25% per upgrade point.
      • Thunderstruck: When Attacking in Melee gain a 10% chance to strike nearby enemies with lightning dealing 500% damage.
      • Hammer Time: A set of Magic Hammers now Orbit you dealing 150% melee damage to any enemy they touch.




        * The player must add at least 10 points to the first 4 upgrades which unlocks the last 2 upgrades that the player can only choose 1 of.


Achievement Walkthrough
  • Achievements:

    • Alone: Use betty on a wall to damage and kill your character at the start of the level before enemies appear. Restart if you kill an enemy.

    • Bonk!: Random head bonked at the loading screen right before the game starts. Restart the run until your character gets bonked.

    • Chieftain: Play at the end of the week and get to top 5 in evolution weekly otherwise complete depth 5 within 15 minutes in one evolution mode run.

    • Commander: Play at the end of the week and get to top 5 in classic weekly or complete depth 5 within 15 minutes in one classic mode run.

    • Garbage Day: Complete the tutorial.

    • Globetrotter: Survive for 30 minutes in one evolution mode run.

    • Gun God: Finish the tutorial but instead of leaving , pull the lever and return to the start of the tutorial. A new room appears on the left side of the starting room. Go left and pick up the trophy.

    • Kingpin: Play at the end of the day and get to top 5 in evolution daily otherwise complete depth 10 in one evolution mode run.

    • Maestro: Reach player level 50 in evolution mode.

    • Master: Reach player 100 in Classic mode.

    • Novice: Reach player level 25 in one classic mode run.

    • Overlord: Play at the end of the day and get to top 5 in classic daily or complete depth 10 in one classic mode run.

    • Overseer: Reach player level 100 in evolution mode.

    • Perfection: Click the gem at the top of the leaderboard repeatedly.

    • Prodigy: Reach player level 25 in evolution mode.

    • Reflection: Melee the orb back at the Observer.

    • Resistant: survive for 10 minutes in classic game mode.

    • Stalwart: Survive for 20 minutes in one classic mode run.

    • Survivor: Survive for 30 minutes in one classic mode run.

    • Toasty: Take the Critical item for a chance to do a critical hit and have the toasty pop up appear. While the pop up is on screen hold S and press escape or on gamepad Hold the down arrow and press start.

    • Tourist: Survive for 10 minutes in one evolution mode run.

    • Traveller: Survive for 20 minutes in one evolution mode run.

    • Veteran: Reach player level 50 in classic mode.

Just picked up the game and came to look for patch notes and found your guide, gotta love it!
