Some Puppet Builds I thought of
By Mikazuchi
Basically just a Facet Reincarnation Build if you need an idea for what to make on your characters. If, for some reason, you're still playing this game and want some idea of what builds to go I have a build for each facet. They're all tailored to what I feel is what they need to work best. Feel free to experiment to see which works best and if you feel the need to change any of it to suit your needs.

Aster Knight
Nature: Brave
  • War Spire
  • Stubbornness
  • Tenacious Strength
  • Armor-Piercing
  • Dual Blade Expert (Shinobushi)
  • Shadowstep (Shinobushi)
  • Dismemberer (Gothic Copellia)
  • Reckless Blows (Gothic Copellia)
  • Improved Bloodflow (Gothic Copellia)
  • Heroic Stance (Demon Reaper)
  • Slippery (Demon Reaper)
  • Anti-Donum Heresy (Theatrical Star)

Basically the glass cannon build. You can build Asters tanky or damage or in between, they're the most versatile facet out of the group. This was the best build I can think of since they don't have a lot of good stats that'll help them not die like AGI for AVD. You could maybe change like Anti-Donum Heresy for some more survivability.
Peer Fortress
Nature: Reliable
  • Guardian's Soul
  • Iron Wall
  • Unbreakable
  • Tortoise Shell
  • Stubbornness (Aster Knight)
  • Squishy Body (Marginal Maze)
  • Master Masochist (Marginal Maze)
  • Slippery (Demon Reaper)
  • Repel (Demon Reaper)
  • Tenacious Speed (Mad Raptor)
  • Shadowstep (Shinobushi)
  • Forsaken Fortune (Theatrical Star)

Peer Fortress is probably one of the only facets I can think of that you can't really mess around with. You want them to have the highest AVD (besides Shinobushi, Theatrical Star, and Demon Reaper) because if you plan on doing post game everything hits like a truck so if they fail to proc Guard they need a fallback. It's a lot harder to stack Guard than it is to stack AVD.
Shinobushi (My favourite class)
Nature: Rational/Loner/Pure(if you want to focus a lil' bit more on critting rather than avoiding)
  • Dual Blade Expert
  • Shadowstep
  • Bypass Armor
  • Tenacious FIngers
  • Dismemberer (Gothic Copellia)
  • Reckless Blows (Gothic Copellia)
  • Improved Bloodflow (Gothic Copellia)
  • Slippery (Demon Reaper)
  • Armor Piercing (Aster Knight)
  • Tenacious Speed (Mad Raptor)
  • Fancy Footwork (Mad Raptor)
  • Anti-Donum Heresy (Theatrical Star)

I have a bias towards this class cuz it has dual wielding katanas. Too bad the female Shinobushis dont dual wield katanas like Miyamoto Musashi but daggers. Imo best build for this class prioritizes AVD since it has the highest AGI in the game besides Mad Raptor and Demon Reaper.
Theatrical Star (My second favourite class)
Nature: Perverted
  • Anti-Donum Heresy
  • Tenacious Charm
  • Bell Master
  • Forsaken Fortune
  • Dismemberer (Gothic Copellia)
  • Reckless Blows (Gothic Copellia)
  • Slippery (Demon Reaper)
  • Tenacious Speed (Mad Raptor)
  • Fancy Footwork (Mad Raptor)
  • Bypass Armor (Shinobushi)
  • Dual Blade Expert (Shinobushi)
  • Shadowstep (Shinobushi)

Reason why I love this class is it's hilariously overpowered once you get the Charmer Pact, and way later on the Furia Pact. You stack as much CHM as you can on them while chucking as much AVD as you can and it's basically unkillable. It's a glass cannon except you can't hit it if you've built it right. Stubbornness and Healing Chime are useless once you have them built up.
Marginal Maze
Nature: Wise
  • Donum Master
  • Abyss Recovery
  • Tenacious Donum
  • Eclipse
  • Stubbornness (Aster Knight)
  • Tenacious Speed (Mad Raptor)
  • Swiftness (Mad Raptor)
  • Total Recovery (Gothic Copellia)
  • Instant Transmission (Demon Reaper)
  • Heroic Stance (Demon Reaper)
  • Slippery (Demon Reaper)
  • Shadowstep (Shinobushi)

If you're wondering why no Donum Efficiency, it's relegated to any of the Supporters you have since Marginal Mazes are pretty much only used for the White Rose Pact and nothing else since it's the best DMP pact in the game.

Maze is probably one of the more boring ones to build, because similar to Fortress, there's just no other way to build them really. You could chuck Reckless Blows and Dismemberer on them just to up their attack damage when clearing trash but it won't help you during boss fights where you want them to be able to cast stuff. This build focuses on letting them cast ASAP as well as giving them as much AVD as possible via passives. Hence the Instant Transmission and Swiftness. Oh and if you forget, spells scale off of DMP (Donum Magic Power) and not ATK so there's no reason to get any of the attack passives (But it still crits)
Just a bit of a side track.
Ngl the rest of the three Facets I don't really like using despite loving their artwork due to the fact that the rest do their job but better. But tbh due to how reincarnations work it doesn't really matter all that much since with enough skills all the facets become broken as all hell this is just my nitpick as to why I don't really use them early on. No reason to use Gothic when Star is as broken as it is (Yes even early on as you get Charmer Pact REALLY early and before it there's the Sheer Star Pact). Demon Reaper is just Shinobushi but worse due to the lower DEX and high CHM (yes they crit less and need the Heroic Stance to be comparable) and needs Humblebrag to not die. Mad Raptor is basically just a ranged version of Aster Knight but Aster Knight can also use Crossbows anyway and their only benefit is being able to use spells early on due to their high DMP growth.
Mad Raptor
  • Fancy Footwork
  • Crossbow Sniper
  • Tenacious Speed
  • Thin Ice
  • Bypass Armor (Shinobushi)
  • Shadowstep (Shinobushi)
  • Dual Blade Expert (Shinobushi)
  • Dismemberer (Gothic Copellia)
  • Reckless Blows (Gothic Copellia)
  • Heroic Stance (Demon Reaper)
  • Slippery (Demon Reaper)
  • Anti-Donum Heresy (Theatrical Star)

Similar to Shinobushi just chuck as much AVD as you can while making it hit as hard as possible. If you want to feel safe you can change any of the atk up skills with Stubbornness for more safety.
Gothic Copellia
Nature: Brave

  • Dismemberer
  • Reckless Blows
  • Improved Bloodflow
  • Maverik or Prankster (or Hammer Master if you're running her on Standard)
  • Dual Blade Expert (Shinobushi)
  • Shadowstep (Shinobushi)
  • Stubbornness (Aster Knight)
  • Tenacious Strength (Aster Knight)
  • Armor-Piercing (Aster Knight)
  • Heroic Stance (Demon Reaper)
  • Slippery (Demon Reaper)
  • Anti-Donum Heresy (Theatrical Star)

She's basically built similarly to the Aster Knight, if you want more safety you can mess around with the skills to see which one you feel like you can remove in favour of adding more AVD. If you're wondering why no Bypass Armor it's because they're a lot more likely to take a hit like Aster Knights.
Demon Reaper
Nature: Pure

  • Scythe Dancer
  • Heroic Stance
  • Slippery
  • Instant Transmission (this is a filler spot chuck whatever you want)
  • Bypass Armor(Shinobushi)
  • Shadowstep (Shinobushi)
  • Armor-Piercing (Aster Knight)
  • Fancy Footwork (Mad Raptor)
  • Tenacious Speed (Mad Raptor)
  • Dismemberer (Gothic Copellia)
  • Reckless Blows (Gothic Copellia)
  • Improved Bloodflow(Gothic Copellia) (you can also use Anti-Donum Heresy if you prefer)

I couldn't sneak in Anti-Donum Heresy cuz it's not as flexible as Shinobushi. Demon Reaper has one dead slot where you can't really put anything else there. If you like gambling with Critical Gore then you can use Evil in Bloom to make their luck 99 by having Tractie's Karma be 99 or if you want to use Forsaken Fortune to leave them at Despair which is the better alternative. With +35% AVD they're most likely better than Shinobushis in terms of dodging ngl.
Other stuff
Only Peer Fortresses and Theatrical Star use Sun Stance. For PFs it's due to the stance increasing their tanking capabilities as well as adding up to CHM. For Stars it's for the CHM up that you need for Charmer/Furia's Pact. The rest use Standard or Moon Stance. If you're still not in post game DO NOT use Moon Stance. The reason being is Moon Stance takes away like 40% of your max hp for like a 10% or so dmg boost (these are guesstimates). That 40% is REALLY valuable because bosses early on usually need to take up at least two turns to kill everyone that isn't a Peer Fortress. Moon Stance basically makes everyone die if the boss so much as sneezes at your general direction. Its when you start doing reincarnations/soul transfers that you can start using Moon Stance due to the fact that either everyone has Stubbornness or is basically highly unlikely to die unless RNGesus hates you or you're fighting the post game boss or secret boss. At this point in the game those bosses will one shot anything that isn't a Peer Fortress basically.

@Evgueni this is like 2 months late but all of this assumes everyone's running Moon Stance so weapon proficiency is bumped up by two levels, except for Theatrical Stance. Hencewhy it's the only one with the weapon proficiency skill. Everybody has at least A+ on their preferred weapons so Moon Stance is more than enough.

According to the description, the "Reckless Blows" only work for S+ weapons. This means that without a corresponding "Master Weapon" it is meaningless. :Refrain_exclamation:
