Going to the Controller Settings

Press the Home Button to bring up steamvr and press Controller configuration

Active controller assignment

Choose custom on Active controller assignment then go to Select other assignment

The Config

Scroll down to Communtiy assignments and activate "Valve Index Grip set to Touch Function"

Have Fun

Now Gripping should feel much better so go and have Fun!

Same here does not matter which one I grab I lose all movement.

i activated this and I couldn't move anymore. I'll see if this is the case when I boot the game back up again soon
