This guide is going to cover the basics, they should for the most part be self explanatory, but I may go in more detail for harder achievements.

Purchase your first Locomotive
You should get this incredibly easily. Once you've built a station and a railway track, set up a route and then buy a train.

First diesel locomotive bought
Buy your first Diesel Locomotive train. You can get this in the North West scenario.

First Express Train in Use
Once you've researched Express Trains, buy the fastest available train and put it on a route that goes from one city to another without stopping and you should get this achievement.

20 locomotives in use
Have 20 locomotives running on the railway at once

50 locomotives in use
Have 50 locomotives running on the railway at once

100 locomotives in use
Have 100 locomotives running on the railway at once

Unlock all locomotives from the 1830s
Unlock all locomotives in the research tab in the 1830s

Unlock all locomotives from the 1850s
Unlock all locomotives in the research tab in the 1850s

Unlock all locomotives from the 1870s
Unlock all locomotives in the research tab in the 1870s

Unlock all locomotives from the 1890s
Unlock all locomotives in the research tab in the 1890s

Unlock all locomotives from the 1910s
Unlock all locomotives in the research tab in the 1910s

Build a long bridge
Build a long bridge with the railway

Build a long tunnel
Build a long tunnel with the railway

2 cities connected
You will get this in the first Campaign Mission by connecting the first two citites in the tutorial.

10 cities connected
Connect 10 cities by railway

Connect all cities in one game
Connect all cities in a Campaign Mission/Scenario to the railway

5 farms connected
You will get this naturally as you play the game - I got it in the second Campaign Mission.
Connect 5 farms to railway stations

20 farms connected
connect 30 farms by Railway

Transport 1200 packages in one game
You will get this naturally as you play the game - I got it in the first Campaign Mission.

Transport 1000 passengers in one game
You will get this naturally as you play the game - I got it in the first Campaign Mission.

Own an Industry
Build an Industry or Buy an Industry when offered to purchase

Own 10 industries
Look at above achievement

First attraction built
Build an Attraction industry

Build 5 different museums in one game
In one game, build 5 museums about different things

Build 10 different universities in one game
In one game, build 5 differnet universities in different cities.

Invest $2 Million in the Stock Market
In the second campaign mission, save up money and buy as many shares as you can in the other companies

Invest $5 Million into Company Shares

Buy out a competitor
Buy a competitor - I did this in the second campaign mission.

First engineer recruited
In the second campaign mission hire an Engineer

A fully staff train
Have all 4 staff slots full on a train. - I did this on the second Campaign mission

You have 50 employees
HIre as many employees as possible on the second mission

A goods depot has loaded 1000 railcars

Produce 100 railcars of oil in one game

Produce 100 railcars full of cars

Chapter 1: Connect Omaha to Rock Springs

Chapter 2: Deliver clothes to New York

Chapter 3: Take Over a Competitor

Chapter 4: Transport weapons to Knoxville

Chapter 5: Build a University in San Francisco

Campaign successfuly completed
Complete all Campaign "Chapters"

First scenario completed succesfully

Complete all USA scenarios

Complete a scenario in region "The East" as President

Complete a scenario in region "The North-West" as President

Complete a scenario in region "The North" as President

Complete a scenario in region "The Midwest" as President

Complete a scenario in region "The West" as President

Complete a scenario in region "The South" as President

Complete a scenario in region "The South-East" as President

Set a speed record

Win 5 auctions in one game

Produce 80% of an item in the entire region

Sabotage a Competitor

Relocate an Indian village

Recieve 5 city bonuses in one game

Achieve an average traveler satisfaction rating of 125% on at least 5 routes
