Introduction
Note: Not all patterns are in the guide, i went slowly one by one through all of them, but i only picked the best of the best, everything that is not mentioned here did not make the cut.

To start things of i will give you a quick overview of how i have categorized each pattern.
They are categorized as follows:
Front Dragon [Dragon in the front of the AUG]
Middle Dragon [Dragon positioned in the middle of the AUG]
Back Dragon [Dragon positioned in the far back of the AUG]
2 Dragons [A Pattern which has 2 dragons appearing]
3 Dragons [A Pattern which has 3 dragons appearing]
4 Dragons [A Pattern which has 4 dragons appearing]( This one is the rarest )

Now that you are familiar with the categories lets get started.
Front Dragon
As a short disclaimer, there are two best Patterns for the front position.
I graded them by how visible the face of the Dragon, whether its nicely positioned or not, and is it rotated or not.

Tier 1

Pattern #88 This pattern is the best, it features 4 Dragons and also great head position in the front.

Pattern #59

Pattern #908 Even though the head is rotated its very visible.

Tier 2

Pattern #273

Pattern #453

Tier 3

Pattern #173

Pattern #61

Tier 4

Pattern #150

Pattern #262

Pattern #320

Pattern #762
Middle Dragon
For the Middle Dragon Pattern i focused on positioning the Dragon between the two metal parts, three if you consider the one above, also considering how visible the dragon is.

Tier 1

Pattern #429

Pattern #442

Tier 2

Pattern #906

Pattern #137

Tier 3

Pattern #103

Pattern #335

Tier 4

Pattern #85

Pattern #97
Back Dragon
Unfortunately for this position we cannot grade them because it comes to personal preference.
The dragon is positioned in 5 Different parts of the back of the AUG, my personal grading will be shown bellow.

Note: These are the best possible patterns for each of the positions show below.

Tier 1

Pattern #70

Tier 2

Pattern 248

Tier 3

Pattern #308

Pattern #653

Pattern #742
2 Dragon Heads
Only 3 possible patterns exist for this section, they are graded according to how visible the Dragon is.
They will be listed from Best to Worst.

Pattern #817 The Dragon is fully visible but sadly this pattern has wear.

Pattern #632 The Dragon in the back is not as visible

Pattern 370 The Dragon in the front is cut out partially
3 Dragon Heads
For this section i only found 2 patterns where the dragons were visible, as for the rest, either the dragon was visible only 10% or it was behind something that i couldnt even see it on inspect.

This pattern is only fully visible on inspect screen.

Once again they will be listed Best to Worst.

Pattern #717

Pattern #28
4 Dragon Heads
According to me this is the best of the best, you cannot get a better pattern even if you look through all of the 1000 patterns.
What i mean by best of the best is that you already saw some of these patterns in the other sections, especially in the first section.

Now then, there are only 3 Possible Patterns, not just the ones that i picked but only 3 exist out of the whole 1000 variants, only 3 were chosen to have 4 Heads.

They are graded from Best to Worst according to position and visibility.

Pattern #88 Hi again ( only 2 exist in FN )

Pattern #262 Also most are traded up.

Pattern #387 ( only 1 in FN )
Conclusion and Credits
As a skin enthusiast i was quite sad to find out the the best pattern for this skin is almost extinct, so i tried my best to acquire one but sadly i was unable to. So if you have one please hit me up, especially for the pattern #88 i loveee it.

Big thanks to my very good friend Mustang[x.com] for telling me that Pattern Wiki exists.
Also big thanks to Pattern Wiki for making their amazing tool, where you can cycle and check out every single pattern instead of opening your game check them out here: PatternWiki[pattern.wiki]

That's it for me, hope you enjoyed this quick guide, it took me about 10 hours to complete or maybe a bit more but i am quite happy to share it with you.
Let me know if you want me to cover other pattern skins that have no guides.
Well i wish you all a wonderful rest of your day, Kris out!

@Silverbox Man even the 273 looks better than the picture you provided #377, the black clip on the aug ruins your 377, where on the 273 its not even near the clip and 273 is a Tier 2

you are probably looking at the patterns through your website. these patterns are only look good in game idling. they are fully shown on the top of the gun. both 100% showing compared to your tier 1's that are twisted and cut off from the aug scope. to my knowledge 30 and 377 are the only known positions that are aligned and centered on the front plate of the gun with the full face of the dragon showing. 30 and 377 wrap around the top without scope cutoff.

explain how your tier 1 picks fit when they are all twisted/half showing and ill be happy

@Silverbox My guy if you even spend 5 min you would realize that 30% of the dragons head is missing in both of the patterns you mentioned. As i stated i looked for the whole dragon showing up on the aug, not a portion of it.

@Silverbox : Pattern 30 adn 377 are not Tier 1 due to the fact the dragon not being visible fully, it is only 80% visible and twisted as well.

as i explained in the guide i was looking for full visibility and no sign of twisting or rotation.
