Take deep breaths and do a breathing technique called "Box Breathing" and repeat the following 5 times:

Hopefully, you are calmer now and have gained a bit of control of your feelings. I might not know what you are going through but staying calm is always the right Idea.

Do something fun or drink a glass of water or any kind of drink which of course does NOT include alcohol, but it might work if you want to forget it all later (Highly not recommended) and maybe once you have calmed down with a drink; you may be calmer than you were moments ago.

What I mean is that you have to have fun to just give yourself some more time to process what made you want to cry just for a bit.
