Banishing
Banish all skill-specific upgrades, Leviathan , Block Power, Status Effects, Damage % (because we use critical damage and reach 300%+ crit chance anyway, critical damage scales us harder.)

Instead, prioritize on grabbing tag-specific upgrades such as Ice, Area, Lasting, etc.
Lock Magnetic anytime you see it, as the experience gain increase is a huge priority to make leveling significantly easier.
You should also prioritize anything related to slow, or chaining disarray. Ignore all other debuffs. Disarray are scaling us very hard, and Slow is our main damage dealer. Anything related to the two is a win condition. Definitely keep up your movement speed, dash count, crit chance, etc, but I would prioritize exp gain, slow/disarray related traits, and a bit of defense. Grabbing area nodes early is extremely helpful, or multicast (as long as they're tagged traits such as Ice, Area, Lasting). Skill-specific traits should ALWAYS be banished along with the above. They're a waste of a level when you can improve everything at once, rather than one, especially when running Singular Focus; When running that rune, skill-specific upgrades will only upgrade ONE of them. The exception here is to upgrade Smite's multicast, and Glacial Affinity's potency,duration, cast frequency.[/code]

Ice Vortex x4

Key Notes : Stacking Crit Chance past 100% in SoulStone Survivors gives you a mechanic called ' Multi Crit ' which allows you to strike at higher tiers of critical strikes. This will multiply your damage significantly, coupled with Multi Cast. Area is also a massive help for this build as you want your Ice Vortex to hit the entire screen, not only that, at a certain point your vortex hit relatively the entire map, plus Smite's healing almost always hits you.

Disarray : increases all damage received by a random value between -0.5% and 2.5% per stack for 8 seconds, where damage can never be reduced below 1.
 
At a certain point, I was reaching 3000+ stacks of Disarray, while having over 200% crit and around 900% crit damage, it's a LOT of damage while all the enemies are also slowed into the ground.

Glacial Affinity (unlocked via Death Knight's 4th weapon)
Key Notes : stacking Area, and damage(potency) are the way to go for Glacial Affinity, it gives upwards of 2000-3000% damage later on, just make sure you have enough cast frequency and duration for it to be up 24/7.[/code]

Smite
This is our bread and butter when it comes to survivability, we are constantly at full health due to Skill Chains (when activating an Ice Skill, have a chance to activate a Holy Skill), ontop of that, it has the same tags as our other abilities (area, lasting) which allows us to scale it very easily, the radius helps a lot since we don't need to be anywhere near it.

Summary

If you are struggling with resources in-game, make your life a lot easier and grab the following runes:
- Efficient Extraction: 50% more resources collected (Arcane Weaver 1st rune in Skill Tree)

- Material Harvest: Whenever you collect a Major Soulstone you also gain random minerals and gems, according to the minerals available in the map you are in. (Legionnaire 2nd rune in Skill Tree)

- Amplified Power: Houndmaster's 3rd Rune in Skill Tree, which gives you .1% damage for every 500 minor soulstones collected that run.

Holy Arcane Weaver [53tril dmg]

  • Extremely simple to play, and very tanky.

Area is also a massive help for this build as you want your Beacon of Light to also hit the entire screen, not only that, at a certain point your comets hit relatively the entire map.

Exposed : Increases Direct Damage taken by up to 16% for 6 seconds. Bonus is proportional to the damage caused by each attack.
 
At a certain point, I was reaching 2000+ stacks of Exposed, while having over 300% crit and around 900% crit damage, this comes out to 2700% damage before the calculations of all those Exposed stacks buffing the attack. So it's a lot of damage, for sure haha.

Beacon of Light x2

Key Notes : stacking Area, and Multicast are the way to go for Beacon of Light, as additional casts from multicast scales the stacks of Exposed you are applying. Area is a must because you want the radius to be the size of your screen. This will sure your comets are consistently nuking extremely hard, and scaling even harder with the Exposed Stacks from Beacon of Light.

TLDR: Celestial Retribution is our nuking ability, while Beacon of Light stacks Exposed  for us.

Instead, prioritize on grabbing tag-specific upgrades such as Earth, Area, Lasting, Magical.
Lock Magnetic anytime you see it, as the experience gain increase is a huge priority to make leveling significantly easier.
You should also prioritize anything related to slow (only need one per slow trait, can banish them after the first grab), or chaining disarray. Ignore all other debuffs. Disarray is scaling us very hard, and Slow is our Disarray chain-stacker. Anything related to the two is a win condition. Definitely keep up your movement speed, dash count, crit chance, etc, but I would prioritize exp gain, slow/disarray related traits, and a bit of defense. Grabbing area nodes early is extremely helpful, or multicast (as long as they're tagged traits such as Earth, Area, Lasting, Magical). Skill-specific traits should ALWAYS be banished along with the above. They're a waste of a level when you can improve everything at once, rather than one, especially when running Singular Focus; When running that rune, skill-specific upgrades will only upgrade ONE of them.

Key Notes : Stacking Crit Chance past 100% in SoulStone Survivors gives you a mechanic called ' Multi Crit ' which allows you to strike at higher tiers of critical strikes. This will multiply your damage significantly, coupled with Multi Cast. Area is also a massive help for this build as you want your Earthquake to hit the entire screen, so that it can begin stacking Slow, Disarray, and Brittle; not only that, at a certain point your Earthquake hit relatively the entire map, plus the sooner you start the disarray, and brittle stacking, the better.

Disarray : increases all damage received by a random value between -0.5% and 2.5% per stack for 8 seconds, where damage can never be reduced below 1.
 
At a certain point, I was reaching 3000+ stacks of Disarray, while having over 200% crit and around 900% crit damage, it's a LOT of damage while all the enemies are also slowed into the ground.

Brittle : Increases damage taken by x damage per stack for 5 seconds, dependent on skill, this value is scaled off of our Earthquakes damage %. It is by far our strongest debuff, and damage increase.

making my way trough the builds. at the holy arcane weaver right now. and I JUST learned that I can have multiples of the same spell. 80 hours in, why didn't I know that? and that's what I was missing from the first build

I recently played thru ALL builds in the other general build guide (and all were fun and good to OL5ish for me) and I've used the first build in THIS guide to clear titan hunt 4 and 5 with ease after struggling with several other builds.

I was curious about the issues with this last build so I've also just got this last build rolling with 6 earthquakes and disarray before the end of the first map of a 36 curse "farm run." It just took a LOT of retries to get lucky enough. I also only ever got disarray on the run where I got the 6 earthquakes despite piling on slow skills at every opportunity.

Reroll until you pull it off - restart anything that's not promising.

You DO need to have either Ice or Chaos in your deck (and maybe on your bar) to get disarray so the last build works with Ele and Myr as is but needs tweaked otherwise.

I've gotta be doing something wrong. RNG just won't give me 6 copies of Earthquake before I get killed. I usually get like 3 and then stall out. Any help?

Same thing with some of the full Earthquake builds. you might have to take skill mastery and go with Ice and pick up 1 ice vortex so you can get the slow and disarray going.

not sure if it is the best way but when i used skill mastery to get the heart swing i also picked up frost strike. I would use frost strike until i got the slow and disarray needed then i would drop frost strike. You have to have a skill that slows to get the slow synergies.

A question about the earthquake build. Am I not understanding something? Tried it as barbarian but I cannot get the disarray passives. Is there something else I need to unlock?
