Introduction

'Leet-er of Men' and 'Blood Money' are probably the most gruelling and boring achievements. It would take literal days of your life to achieve them under normal play. So, like most sane people would (who don't use SAM), you want a simple and idle way of achieving them.

Well, this is the guide for you. All you need is a custom map and a couple of non-cheating console commands.

The Map

First, you'll need these maps[gamebanana.com], specifically achievement_win_1

Once you download the file, unzip it and drag the .bsp files to your CS: Source maps folder. This will typically fall under: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\maps

Go into the game and create a server on the achievement_win_1 map (join as a Counter-Terrorist). If all goes well, then that's the map side of things sorted!

The Achievements & Commands

Now it's time for the achievements, and all you need are a few commands.

Here's the step-by-step guide:

Join the map as a CT
Open the console
Enter the command 'bot_add_t' (the T bot will spawn and immediately die, and this goes on)

But you may notice it's very slow, so let's speed that up and extend the game timer, too.

Open the console again:

Enter the command 'mp_round_restart_delay 0' (rounds will now restart the moment the T bot dies, speeding up the process by around 500-600%)
Enter the command 'mp_timelimit 500' (This will make the game last 500 minutes, which will prevent the map from changing for around eight hours)
Additionally, make sure 'mp_winlimit' is set to 0 (this prevents the game from ending, too)

Now simply let the game idle until you get your achievements. It's also good to go into the in-game CS: Source achievement menu and mark 'Leet-er of Men' and 'Blood Money' to appear on the hud.

@Crash McLarson I'm not sure why that would be the case. I do remember it was a little funny with me regarding the achievement tracker on the HUD.

If you're unsure about whether or not it's working, make a note of your achievement progress in the Pause > Achievements menu, run the map for a bit, disconnect, then go back to the in-game achievements menu to check the progress.

Other than that, maybe restart the game or make sure you don't have anything like 'sv_cheats 1' enabled in the console. Best of luck!
