The Firearm can be unlocked via the Misplaced Chambers.




Whenever you enter a Misplaced Chamber, the NPC shown on the right has a chance to spawn.

Speaking to this NPC usually results in him asking a question, but upon fulfilling some sort of requirement, he will instead give you the following piece of dialogue:



Once you receive this message, you are ready to begin the search for The Firearm.

I'm not sure what the exact requirement is to trigger the dialogue,but I believe you need to speak to him enough times before he deems you ready.

Afterwards, the Altar can now be found at random whenever you enter a Misplaced Chamber. You will find the same NPC waiting for you in the chamber.

Speak to him again, and he will give you instructions to find an NPC in a latrine.

The latrine can be found randomly whenever you enter a Misplaced Chamber.

Upon interaction, the NPC will tell you to speak to someone in a motel.

The motel can be found randomly whenever you enter a Misplaced Chamber.

Rather predictably, there will be an unlocked door, and an NPC who will offer to direct you to The Firearm if you stay in his room for a while. Simply wait for a minute then speak to him again.


After speaking to him again, leaving the motel will immediately send you to The Firearm's chamber.

In the center of this chamber lies The Firearm.
Picking it up will permanently unlock it forever.
Unfortunately, you cannot leave the chamber as there is no door.
The only way to escape is to die by firing The Firearm over and over again.
