risen teo is one of the monsters i love the most from this game, and watching all my old runs on him, i can see how much i've improved since title update 3. it has been both an absolute joy and an absolute pain grinding for this run, but i'm pretty happy with how it looks.

i know that a low 4'4X or high 4'3X is achievable with the set i currently have but i gotta stop grinding now and get ready for my trip to japan so this is where i'll leave it for now...

my fastest clear so far is a 4'52. this run is a bit cleaner looking and shows a few more different punishes. only thing that really goes wrong is the dog kos him before i can re-amp with ebc, and i run away from one of the sneezes like a coward instead of attacking and then iframing it.

at this point i'm pretty sure my punishes and script are approaching optimal...  but then again, the last few times i ran this monster i thought i was doing things right too. watching my past runs now, they look pretty bad, so maybe i'll figure out some more stuff in future that'll make me cringe at this run.

i had several 5'0X runs without heroics 5 and with attack boost 7 instead - the caveat is that in these runs i'd often drop to 1 hp and dango adrenaline would activate for a while before bloodlust healed me. at that point i thought that i may as well commit to heroics 5 for full uptime.

the issue with dango adrenaline is that my uptime is poor as bloodlust will keep healing my red hp past the adrenaline activation range. i would have to get rid of all my red hp unless i barrel bomb myself, but a barrel bomb setup takes a lot of time - getting hit, wirefalling, barrel bombing, wirefalling again - and it also messes with both wirebug economy and sharpness management with heaven sent. in comparison, heroics is relatively easy to set up with super armour from ebc or zsd, and doesn't mess with your wirebugs or sharpness.
