• You will need to do all the 100 pizza deliveries, 100 Taxi pickups, and 100 lifeguard missions. You will earn a decent amount by the time you are done with all of those and i'd recommend doing those achievements first before skipping the revenue since you will have more money to buy more businesses.. Any and all information on jobs is in the where to get money part of the guide. There is also another guide that shows the money payouts and most efficient jobs to do to earn money.
  
  
  Skip Revenue Requirements
• Own at least one business or have the 50k DLC. The cheapest business is $600 and you will earn $60 per your load time. This is the fastest way to earn money in this game, and it gets faster and better per business you own.
  
  
  Step 1
  Load up single player, or multiplayer. Go to the Real Estate place immediately.
  
  
  Step 2
  Buy as many businesses as you can
  (50k DLC owners start most expensive then work down till you are out of money.)
  (Deleting your save data will allow you to get your 50k back too, if for some reason this does not work for you, there is a section in this guide on how in case you need it.)
  
  
  Step 3
  Collect your revenue, by the printer with the hand symbol. If this is the first property you purchased, you will need to leave then go back in again, just for the game to register you bought stuff.
  
  
  Step 4
  Go to your date and time settings on your pc.
  (You can be inside the real estate place, or outside, when you change the time is quite irrelevant.)
  
  
  Step 5
  Turn off set time automatically. Then press change.
  
  
  Step 6
  Set the day to tomorrow. It is 7/29/2023 as writing this. 7/30/2024 is what i'd change it to.
  (You may need to change the year as well. 11/4/2024 some things that used to work didn't without messing with more parts of the date but it still worked.)
  
  
  
  Step 7
  Confirm the change, leave the date and time window open.
  
  
  Step 8
  Leave the real estate building, collect your revenue. Repeat the steps again, Profit.
  
  
  Step 9
  Once you hit the last day in the month, lets say January 31st for example. Set your date to January 1st, before collecting the money. This will allow you to use the same year, and month repetitively.
  

1. Firstly get money. There are 5 ways that i know of and i will post them at them below for the rare few who may require the information.
   
   
2. Earn enough to buy property at the real estate building, it will be a bit of a grind for you since, well, you don't have properties. After you buy a building you can follow the skip revenue steps part of the guide.
   
   The cheapest building you can buy is $600. It gives you back $60 daily. Changing your time will give you $60 per every 30-45 seconds. You can get it after about 6 taxi jobs. It will be overall faster then grinding jobs, and is the absolute fastest way to get rich. All business prices are at the very bottom of this section.
   If your going for all the achievements you are required to do 100 lifeguard, 100 taxi missions, and 100 pizza deliveries. I advise doing those achievements before trying to skip the revenue, since you will have more money to buy more businesses.
   
   "the ultimate money making guide is a way more in depth guide on showing ways to earn money that does not involve "cheating."
   
   
   1) Lifeguard rescue
   It is located here.
   
   Talk to the lifeguard, then pick up the lifesaver in front of my car.
   
   Then go to where the lifesaver is on the map, these spawn in randomly and are rarely in the same spot.
   
   
   2) Taxi pickups
   these spawn in randomly too.
   
   
   3) Pizza Deliveries
   always located here, never change.
   
   
   4) Time trials
   one can be found on almost every map and they don't move.
   
   
   5) Gambling
   Potentially a waste of time, potentially can get you a lot of money quickly, but overall will depend on your own luck. It will probably be much quicker for you to get $600, buy the business and skip revenue.
   
   Online Races
   A very buggy experience. If your trying to actually race players there are so many bugs it more than likely will not be worth the time or effort. However if you had two pcs and two steam accounts you could let one stay afk, and just beat them in the race over and over. I'd recommend only using the started map if your trying to do races, which was a very buggy and bad experience anyway, but the 2 other maps we were able to initiate a race on were even worse in terms of how far a player would spawn from the race star point.

1. The game knows your start date, and you can check it in the games passport. Setting your date to something before your start date will result in a red X on the revenue collection printer, and it won't turn back into a clock until it is happy with the right date again... in other words, you can only set the time forward. if you set the date ahead before you pick up the revenue, you can change the date back your current date and it will count that date as today.
   If you are brand new to the game you can set your time to 1/1/1994 after launching steam and before launching the game. It will say your start date was 1/1/1994.
   (I just learned you can set it further back. 1/1/1980 is the farthest back.)
   Alternatively you can delete your save data and get the same results.
   (Which is how i was able to test it and give you the screenshots below.)

2. You keep setting it one day after the last every time you leave. so 7/30/2024 would be next in my fake scenario, then 7/31/2024... Etc. It also does not matter when you change the date, you can even do it during the loading screens, but sometimes you get a "this program has stopped working" message, but for me it always went away and the game didn't crash.You can do it infinitely into the years ahead. However, when you set your time back it will be a red X until it finds a date you have not collected the revenue on. If you set your time ahead, so you have the white pointer finger, you can set your date back again before collecting the revenue and it will make it think you collected yesterdays date today. This method can be used to fixed glitched out collections.
   
   
3. If your date is set to anything that is not current, don't try to send a message on discord, or view pages on steam, or google... Everything acts up lmao all those sites and who knows what other applications want the right date and time to work properly. Just turn back on "set time automatically" and you will be good to use everything as normal again.
   
4. Chance your overall playtime may become glitched on steam. It is only on your side of things, it doesn't seem to show the crazy playtime on reviews or anything. Steam seems to fix itself eventually too, so this doesn't seem to be a big issue, i'm just including it for the sake of transparency.
   
   
   

First off there is a chance you will have to change your date format.
(DD/MM/YYYY for example.)
For the game to register your revenue at all. I will test this further eventually.

Load up single player, or multiplayer. Go to the Real Estate place.

Go to your date and time settings on your pc.
(You can be inside the real estate place, or outside, when you change the time is quite irrelevant.)

Turn off set time automatically. Then press change.
Change your year to next year, or something later then that, and also change the day to anything.

Confirm the change, keep the date and time window open.
Leave the real estate building, then go back into it again.
It should be a white pointer finger. (If it isn't leave a comment.)
Do not pick up the revenue yet.
Instead set your time back to automatic.

Now pick it up. This will have reset your timer, and your free to collect money daily again.

This method works on most games by the rewindwind app devs.

Open steam, Turn off cloud saves for Retrowave World.


Press Win+R, type regedit.

Press ok, press yes.
Double click HKEY_CURRENT_USER

Find Software, double click on it.

Find Rewindapp.
All games you own by this dev will be listed here.
Only one we care about is Retrowave World.

Backing up your save data
Right click on Retrowave world. Press Export.

Name it Retrowave World, (can be anything you want... as long as you know what it is)
save it to your documents or any place where you know where it is.
To restore the save go to where you exported the registry file. Simply double click it, and registry will ask you if you want to make changes to the registry. Click yes, and your save will be restored.

Delete the Retrowave World Folder.

Change your date to 1/1/1994. (or any date you desire.) If you don't know how, follow the skip revenue steps part of this guide.
Launch the game. You will know you did it right if when the game starts up it says last played 1/1/1994.

DLC OWNERS, OPEN THE GAME, CLOSE THE GAME, THEN REOPEN THE GAME.

Now you are free to continue onto the rest of the SKIP REVENUE STEPS.

If you go to the Adult store then talk to Amy before going to the vhs store you can complete all the collectibles in the game without having to backtrack. (If you do this, go to the night club and pick up the first sex toy in the booth at the back right. Then follow the guide.)
This is the route we will be taking. Green dots are where we will be resetting our car. Blue is always before Red routes.



Is to the left of the entrance.

Go outside.

Go to the arcade.

To the right as you enter, behind the npc. While your here pick up the second sex toy, it's in front of the restroom.

City Drag.




Vice Automotive


Leave Vice Automotive. Follow the path to get to the next tape as fast as humanely possible. You want to drive through the gap.

Drive past the lifeguard tower, and the tape will be on the beach.

Get in your car, after collecting the tape then press R so you can get on the road faster and get to the next tape even quicker.

Go to the casino.

After you walk in look for the wheel of fortune, and Pamela.
They are both to your left.
(Winning the $3000 reward will unlock this outfit for you.)
Anyway grab Tape 11 then follow the path, to get to tape 12.


From tape 12, follow the path provided.



Ocean City Real Estate


Go the the rewind app tower.

Walk behind the receptionist desk to get the third sex toy.
Take a right upon entering the building to get to the 15th tape.

It is located in the left corner as you walk in. Or if you go to the npc and turn around it will be to your right.

From tape 15, leave the room, and go up the second set of stairs, past the entrance.
When you hit the top of the stairs walk through the hallway ignoring both rooms. The tape will be to the left.

From tape 16, go back the way you came. Do not go down the stairs though, instead go straight and walk through the elevator.



You need to get on this highway, and there are only two ways to get on, which is why we are going there now. Here is a reference point from my map.



From tape 18, finish driving the rest of the road and take a left going into the tunnel.
The Tape will be on the far left side of the tunnel.


Drive through the rest of the tunnel, go to the lighthouse that will be on the right.


From the lighthouse we were just at, follow route provided.




Look for the giant cellphone.


Gas station:





From tape 27 Enter building, search roof.





Directly next to the strip club


After collecting the 30th tape, and 3rd sex toy, go back to the VHS store and sex shop. If you followed the guide you should be right next to both of them.

Go to the casino, and get the $3000 reward from the wheel of fortune.
It costs $100 to spin the wheel.
Sometimes you get a cool down, i am pretty sure it only happens if you land on 0 before unlocking her. It is in real time and it lasts 30 minutes.
You can skip the wait time by setting your clock ahead 30mins. Just Leave the casino, then go back in after changing your time.
The chance is random, it took me at least 20-50 tries on my first attempt.
After deleting my save and retrying to unlock Pamela i unlocked her on my 5th spin. 7/30/2024.

Go near the VHS store/The Arcade and keep your eye out for either the sex shop, or the night club. They will have green markers letting you know you can go inside, but overall they are not marked on the map.
(If you need the VHS Tapes and this outfit, you minds well read the VHS tapes part of the guide. Instead of this section. If you only want this outfit, then feel free to keep reading.)

You will want to go into the sex shop first. Then talk to the very lewdly dressed npc Amy.
(it's the building on the right in the screenshot.)


After talking to "Amy" the collectible is in the back to the right.
The collectible will not be here if you did not talk to Amy.



After you enter just walk straight and you will find it.


The toy is behind the receptionist desk.



Go back to the adult shop and talk to Amy again.

Step 1: Drive here.
You may want to make sure you have a full tank before you start this journey though.

Step 2: Drive past the next map you end up on. It's a long squiggly road.
Once you get to the final map (it's darker then the one you were just on. Drive to the gas station at almost the end of the world. You can talk to the Npc sitting alone inside the Route 69 diner too, to get dialogue that is related to doing this achievement, but it's not really required. Even after going to the UFO the npc has new dialogue for you, but still nothing happens. (The diner is before the gas station.)


Collect $3000 before going here if you want to get the vapor automotive achievement, and don't want to backtrack. The $3000 is so you can buy all 3 of the cars.



This is the easiest to do on the far left or far right springboard.
Get as far back as you can, you basically want to be touching the back wall.
Hold shift and run, before attempting to jump.
As for the jump you want to land as far up the board as possible.
I provided 2 gifs of the same attempt. Slowed down, to try to help you as much as possible.
I got 7.45 on my attempt. You are only required to get 7.


Before you leave this map, you can go to vapor automotive and also collect that achievement while your here.

You can only buy 15/16 of the cars.
Confirmed by a dev: There are only 16 cars.
The 16th car is given to you for collecting all the VHS tapes.

The first car you start with is not considered your car. It does not count towards the 16/16.
Once you buy another car, regardless what it is, you will have to repurchase the starter car again for it to be yours. You also cannot upgrade or customize that car until you repurchase it.

(i probably don't have to include this one.)

Just follow the road all the way to the end, the building will be on the right. There is no in game map of this place.
(Two photos of it, since the text takes on the background, one is easy for you to read, the other shows the cars lol)

In the dream island, there is a rubix cube you can interact with.



You can play tag. Requires bringing at least one other person here.

Anything posted in this category does not hurt the game, it does not break your game and you can continue playing before or after attempting any of these.

1. Go to any lifeguard mission, park your car in the water... Direction of the car does not matter.
   
   Leave the car there, then go rescue the npc.
   
   Enter your car, The npc will be "in" your car.
   then drive it into the ocean, until you get reset.
   
   You are free to leave your car, and do whatever, the npc will follow you almost everywhere. I know you lose it if you go into a building or a different map.
   Other players cannot see your npcs.
   
   Another lifeguard mission will not spawn until you "save" this npc or despawn it by going to another map or something.
   To save them take them to any water, dip their toes in the water, then walk out of the water.

2. So funny thing just happened... I was sitting afk writing and updating my guide... I go back to the game and i see this.
   
   What i learned is you can reset your car on top of someone esle's and that is what the random did to me. Then i did it back.. Unfortunately this person did not help me further test to see how much chaos we can cause with that...Thank you to the random
   (Who shall be anonymous, since i will not post their ID without their consent.)
   Further tested this on 7/18/2024 with a person i met in game i will refer to them as "Lillie." for the rest of this guide.

   ... I would like to get a full server of people.. Try to stack as many cars as possible, and make a tower. i was searching for people to help me attempt this in their discord, but they banned me from it. I probably won't be able to collect enough people, but if someone can well at least the idea still gets to be shared by someone.
   
   
3. 7/18/2024 Lillie Showed me a funny thing where if you walk on the side of this specific highway your character does the falling animation. They referred to this as "riding a bicycle."
   it happens on this highway specifically, on some of the other ones we tried it did not work. Might only be this highway, but i have not tested them all.
   
   
   
   I then asked them.. what would happen if we did this, and i tried to get in a car?
   
   
   I then walked under the car while crouched, and pressed X, it launched their car making them do several flips.
   
   I can't tell you how or why, but through all of our messing around in the same session Lillie got glitched to the point to where every time i pressed R it spawned them with my car.
   
   
   We also learned the porche can get stuck on this same highway if the back tires touch it at the same time like shown in the photo. i could not move this car at all.
   
   Their lambo seemed to be resistant to this, so it only happens to some cars.
   
4. A little later, Lillie Ended up spontaneously turning into a bicycle. Neither of us are really sure how.
   
   
   During all of this, my porche was stuck in reverse, so my car tried mating with their car.
   
   
   
   
   Lillie was stuck as a bicycle this entire time, they could not enter vehicles or do much of anything except slowly move around the map. To fix them they went inside one of the shops.
   
   
5. Showed Lillie a building they can jump off of. Then they did. The good news is you respawn doing this MP, you stay dead and require exiting to the main menu in Singleplayer.
   
   
   
   
6. Simply going to a new area on a map with another player in your car, and this may happen.
   
   
7. Have a player get in your car, then do a taxi run.
   
   

Anything i place under this bug category required me to exit to the main menu to get out of it. I separate them for the sake of the reader.

1. Park a car really close to a bench, press E to get on the bench, then press E again, you will experience the 4th dimension. (The photos do not do it justice to what is happening.)
   You experienced the correct version if you fall through the map at mach jesus, looking like your playing portal 2 in coop with an evil friend.
   
   
   Unfortunately the only way i know to get out of this is to exit the game.
   Potentially another player could ram your car though, and once it is out of the way i assume you'd be fixed. i tried resetting the car numerous times with R, to no avail. Nothing i tried got me out of this situation besides quitting to the main menu.
   
   I have also attempted this numerous times to try to replicate it.
   (The same thing that happened the first time has not been replicated yet)...
   
   Further tested this on 7/18/2024 with Lillie results in the screenshots below. we did this with an without the npc glitch too but i am posting the attempt with the npc glitch.
   
   
   
   
   Since i was still broken and could not move, Lillie drove me to a different map the ending result was me being stuck on a bridge, which led to me being stuck on this screen. I had to exit to the main menu.
   
   
   
2. 7/18/2024 I had the bright idea to park my car next to a building we can enter, i had Lillie park theirs on the other side of mine. Results in the screenshots below.
   
   
   
   
3. 7/18/2024 I went into this fountain. Lillie followed me, i got stuck by crouching and could not leave the fountain. The first photo is the animation you get when spamming Q, and holding W.
   
   Then they decided to crouch, and then we were both stuck in the fountain, both of us requiring to exit to the main menu.
   
   Doing all of these basically breaks your game lol... So, if you do them i have warned you, exiting to the main menu is probably required. Please let me know if you learn a way to get out of them though!

Events posted here are random and i have no idea how we even did them.
There are also some on my profile but most are already deleted though since this guide was an afterthought, links included at the bottom.

I reset my car, after doing a lifeguard mission. Then next thing i know... Well see for yourself.

1. If your car happens to run out of gas, you can now call a wrecker for $400. It will fill up your cars tank automatically. I found this out by pure luck. (changed my car to see if i could unlock the last achievement, ran out of gas, saw this.)
   
   
   
2. New places. You can go into the strip club. There is apparently a sex shop too now. Along with a mission related to it. It's a find and collect thing, just like the vhs tapes collecting the 3 sex toys will unlock a character called amy.
   (i am not going to include any nsfw photos in this guide. Sorry.)
   There are two sections in this guide that tell you how to unlock her though.
   
   
   
3. You can purchase new properties.
   

Most car colors can break the car skin textures.
As shown below.
All other photos will be white cars to avoid that.

This section of this guide is assuming you are looking at the guide due to the review i wrote.

This "game" is 25gbs of storage and this is all the "content" this "game" has to offer.
For context: Metal gear solid 5 is 30gbs.

From the map you start on you can go to three different areas.
There is no type of fast travel or anything.



The "Rising Sun" has no actual in game map. If you want to see what it looks like here is another game the retrowave devs made, where they took that map and put it in this game, look at the photos, then watch the trailer and you will see it's the same map, with a few texture changes.

The last game is by far the best and has the most work done on it.
It is basically better then the rest of this entire game.
Only purpose it is to talk to the npc, and then the VHS tapes spawn in.
Collecting all 30 gives you a car for free.


You only buy cigarettes from this place.


Gambling. Anything with a green circle you can play.






Rising sun is the only map that doesn't have one. So there are 6 in total.

The first character is able to be customized. The rest are preset.

If you were to follow everything in the guide and do everything including vhs tapes. You will probably spend around 10hours. This should give you every achievement too. The most time consuming parts will be 100 lifeguard missions, 100 pizza deliveries, and 100 taxi pick ups.
The only way you will enjoy playing this game, if you can get past the doing the same things over and over repetitively is if you have people to play it with, however if you do every glitch i have wrote with your friends, you might get 5hrs of fun (assuming none of them are patched.) After that what is there left to do? You can play tag, but i promise you, you will get bored extremely fast in this game. The people who have 20hrs+ are people who did everything, and possibly left the game idle for who knows how long. (i have nearly 70hrs... i probably only played 15hrs legit. A lot of my playtime is because i left the game open while i wrote the guide, or updated the review, and the screenshots.)

You can go into the stripclub in this game now, and i guess i could add it in the things to do, but you literally walk in, see some strippers dancing.. one is fully nude... You can spam Y or F and you'll just spend $10 over an over again but nothing else will change really. They just keep doing the same animations. It's basically pointless, unless your really down bad? The adult store has a pornographic video on loop, there are various sex toys and other content related to that laying around. The npc is very lewd, and so is the outfit you can unlock. There are 3 collectibles added. The new gameplay elements added was the tow truck when you run out of gas, or being able to run over pedestrians, but nothing else that added to the actual lifespan of the game. The new dlc probably added about 10mins of playtime, this includes the time it would take to load up singleplayer or multiplayer, run over 100 people, collecting the 3 sex toys, and buying a new car skin. The "game" still has virtually nothing to do. (The sex toys can't be used anyway, they just sit in a case after you collect them.)

Buildings cost anywhere from $600-$27000 they give back $60-$2350 every literal 24hrs.
if you buy all the businesses you would have spent:

$16,117 (After Collecting the 3 sex toys and owning every other business)

After unlocking a business, you still have to buy it. Here is the table i made from the where to get money section.

Look into the Ultimate money making guide, if you want clear statics on how much money you earn in the game, then you can use the information i provided to find out how tedious it all is.
Every job together on average pays out around $50-$127.



It will take you 17 days in real time to earn back what you spent Regardless if you have the dlc or not. (Assuming you own all the businesses, and collect the revenue daily.)

if you want all the achievements.. You will have to collect the VHS Tapes and the 100 pizza deliveries are required. The VHS tapes come with a car at least and is pretty easy. 50 deliveries gets you a character. 100 lifeguard missions gives you nothing.
(except money and an achievement.)

Unknown after 10/18/2024.
If you miss a day the revenue does not stack and you will miss out on some of your well earned cash. There is no type of notification telling you to get your revenue when it is ready either. Except for the pointer finger inside the building itself.

• Reached out to a Dev, and they gave me step by step instructions on how to delete my save data.
  The photos that include the car prices are a result of that.

  Current Projects
  Strikes Will Show what has been done.
  
  
• Buying all cars on a new save so i can give you guys the base stats of the cars and the stats when they are fully upgraded.
  
  
• Unlocking all the business all over again.
  (this includes collecting all the collectibles, and doing the 100 pizza deliveries again. i want to give a statistic of how much money i earned from all 100 deliveries.)
  
  
• Found a more efficient route for the VHS tapes compared to the original i posted. The new route will be posted eventually. Plan to time how long it would take to do this route, in a starter car. My date on that save will also be 1/1/1980.

• I also may redo some of the things i wrote, and make them into gifs. (which is a pain in the ass and takes a lot of time... Maybe i'll do it if this guide hits 500 unique visitors or something.

  All these things will be added to the guide when i get motivated to do it all. For now i am going to take a few weeks break of doing stuff to this guide, since at that point it is basically done i mean everything anyone would need to know is in the guide now. Every achievement i left out is pretty self explanatory. The other information i want to add is literally just extra at this point.
  
  Stuff i know i haven't included in this guide yet and or probably won't add in...

1. Showing the 6 time trials.
   
   
2. The achievements that are very obvious on how to unlock.
   
   
3. Avoided any potential spoilers related to the Secret of route 69 achievement, but showed you where to go.
   
   
4. Have not shown the max speed stats and the low speed stats of every car yet.
   
   
5. I don't have the rewindapp buildings "leaderboard" mentioned anywhere since it used to not even work, which it may now, but it doesn't add anything to your overall playtime anyway, and it's as empty if not more so then every other building i have already shown in this guide.
   
   
6. I refuse to post nsfw content, so the strip club and the adult shop aren't actually fully shown in the guide either, but it is heavily described in the review i have on the "game," and even in the before you buy section: "Game" content.
   
   Besides that everything else, and i mean everything else in this "game" is in this guide in one form or another.
