100% Achievement Guide

I noticed there was no 100% achievement guide for this game so I decided to create one. I wanted to create a guide with as much consolidated information as possible since information was sporadic. This is my first guide ever, so be nice :) and please rate it!

Please let me know if anything is wrong and/or needs an update. (I still need information on how to get all the cables from the hide n seek quest and I also need information on the scout quest)

This is a Work-In-Progress (WIP) Guide. However, as of 7/25/2024, I have completed all achievements for this game and updated the guide as necessary.

This game requires multiple playthroughs (or save scumming) in order to 100% all achievements. If you are going for this, do not spend a lot of time optimizing networks but rather finishing the achievements. You can always create a 'new save' in order to get that "perfect optimized" network since there is no sandbox mode at this time.

Achievements

Baby Step
Connect an endpoint to the network.
You will get this achievement organically when hooking up the first mainframe in the lab to the endpoints


Dream House
Buy the cabin.
You will find a cabin that has a 'For Sale' by the front door (same depth as the starting lab to the south). You will need to purchase this 512 credits (credit price appears to increase relative to how many you have at that time. You will then need to leave the area immediate area after purchase and come back in order to open the door


Choo-Choo
Find the locomotive.
You will find train tracks organically when searching for new endpoints. The train tracks run horizontally (east-to-west) and can be found towards the middle/south of the map and the same depth as the XXX endpoints.


Incident Response
Fix a DDOSed endpoint.
You will start seeing red 'hacker' packets being sent throughout the relays. When you find an endpoint that is getting DDOSed, there will be red hacker skull icon on the screen. You will have to purchase an antivirus from the vendor, then equip and hold while looking at the affected endpoint to clear. There is a percentage in the bottom left hand side showing the progress while it is being removed.

Once you find the actual hacker sending the DDoS packets, you can setup a filter then set the port to deny inbound packets in order to stop them from spreading around the network


Read the Fancy Manual
Collect all the manual pages.
Manual pages are found as you explore areas for endpoints. It appears the page found could be random. Do not worry about "missing" any as there are more areas to explore than pages. Once you get all pages, it will just give you a credit award (same as when you collect a toolbox).


Black Screen Of Death
Destroy the mainframe.
After you complete the mainframe puzzle, use the antivirus on the mainframe instead of talking with Madeline. The infected mainframe will explode.


G3 State
Get your battery stolen.
After you defeat the infected mainframe puzzle, you are presented with a decision whether to destroy the mainframe or help Madeline. If you talk with Madeline, you will need to give her your battery.


Business as Usual
Unveil Madeline's secret.
You must complete the Hermit fetch quest (Hermit requires a disc). You get a disc when you complete the DJ nightclub quest (DJ requires a speaker). The speaker is made from the CNC machine (requires screw to repair the machine and a magnet to make the speaker). The magnet and screws can be borrowed and purchased from the fisherman


A Man of His Word
Return the Magnet to the fisherman.
The fisherman can be found in the 'Beach' biome (same depth as 0.3.0.0 mainframe). When you speak with him, ask to borrow is magnet for 4096 credits. You can then start dialog with him again, to give the magnet back.


The Show Must Go On
Route all the music streams to their subscribers.
You only need to route 1 night club to get the achievement (not all). There should only be 4 static endpoints to route the music to where it round robins evenly among them.

You can use a debugger set to snoop to determine the endpoint's locations and/or use the journal.


Big Brain
Connect all the subnetwork chambers to the network.
The solutions to the subnetwork puzzles are in another section of the guide. Or found within other steam guides.


Out-of-Office
Enjoy life in your cozy cabin.
In order to get the achievement, you need to get all UNIQUE items for purchase. For example, if you see 2 beachballs/plants, you only need 1 of them. Once you refresh your personal computer, you get items that are still needed. Once you get the achievement, no items show up when refreshed.

The easiest way to do this, is use wireless antennas rather than routing with relays. Keep in mind, the antennas always pick the closest signal. When testing, use a repeater debugger so you can see where the packets will end up. Periodically, put down a antenna to test to make sure you are still receiving packets from the repeater. You can press tab to call and then use the 'GO HOME' option to help speed up the process when resetting for each endpoint









Colored Cables
Speak with the kid in the school biome. He will play "hide & seek" and if you find him, he will give you colored cables. He provides hints in his dialog. Remember, to always use your journal for important information.

Pink Cable
When you first speak with the kid, he will give you this cable for free.

Blue Cable
Kid found in the farm biome, same depth as 0.1.0.0 mainframe

RedCable
Kid found behind the box in the workshop (0.3.2.1)

Blue Cable
Kid found behind a tree in the cabin (0.3.1.2)
Unlocking Villa
Mainframe 0.3.0.0, is found in the villa. In order to unlock the villa, you must perform the following actions:

1. Find the code in the villa's sewers which are located underneath the villa. There is a letter/paper attached to the wall you must click on to read

2. Go to the nightclub biome and talk to one of the two kids in the back who are sitting in the pool. Use the 'secret word' dialog and in return, they provide you the passcode to the villa's locked door.

3. Return to the villa and click on the door. The passcode will automatically be said in dialog and the door will open.

Someone mentioned you can skip the villa quest using a jetpack. However, in the final quest for 'defeating the infected mainframe', one of the doors uses the same 1-3-3-7 door code so I don't believe skipping is optional.
Subnetwork Chamber Puzzles

1. You can ignore all of the pre-set filters in the room and setup relays and hubs to the endpoint (go completely around them on the outside paremeter) Remember, middle click can disconnect relays when they auto connect to devices.

2. Create one input line and one output line (creating a circular circuit)

3. Output will go to 1.1.0.2 which does not exist. This means, you need to route it to the server room (which is a logging endpoint and takes every packet)

Ye, Smuggen is correct you can bypass the door with breaking the window in the final area. You learn about breaking windows randomly through out the game when you accidentally bust any window with your drill, and your avatar essentially says the window is too strong for your drill, you need to throw something to break it. This is also one of the necessary ways to connect the market that's closed where you put a connection through the window.

skipping with villa with the jetpack is possible, you can bypass the door in the final area by finding a physics item and breaking the window next to the door to gain entry.

i also believe you can fully interact with the endpoint without even entering the room, i managed to use the antivirus from outside the room

You can bypass the Villa quest chain if you have jetpack.
