One thing that you may wan't to review with your freind is the names of the features of the map. There is a useful one with labeled features on the steam guides, which is why I am not including one in this guide. If you do this, then instead of saying "The cave thats near the beach thats not at the beach but not at a lake either" you can just say Howling Cave enterance #2. Also, you may wan't to try making your own names for smaller places that you and your freinds have discovered. This also has another use which will be discussed in another section.

Stygilomochs (The raptor-like dinos that ruin your day three times over) are your freind and your foe. When untame, Stygs are your worst nightmare. These denizens of Capa Island are the fastest dinosaur as of yet and are more likely to spawn than large dinosaurs. Since there is virtualy no way to fight or run away from them without a huge risk, they can ruin your day right when you and your freinds are about to meet up. However, since they are the fastest dinos in the game, if you can manage to get 50 expertise and the tools to kill one, it can be a great benifit for finding your freind. Keep this in mind when your sprint jumping along the beach- Stygs are your worst enemy.

Your worst enemy is the Stygilomoch, but a hacker might as well be one in human form. Hackers are really just idiots sitting at their computer screen waiting for somebody to give away their location. As soon as they know where you are you are basicaly dead, so keep all communication in as much secrecy as you can. The most effective ways of doing this are steam chat, or Team Speak/Skype.
