By lluisvinentdev
This guide describes how to animate the crosshair when performing a certain action, such as aiming, shooting, sprinting,..., so that the crosshair adapts to any situation.

Adding your first animation
Each crosshair layer can have its own animations. To add the first animation, go to the layer you want to animate and click the "+" button in the Layer Animations section.

The first step is to choose when you want the animation to run. You can choose to animate it when shooting (LMB), aiming (RMB), or any other key.

The next step is to choose how you want your crosshair to be animated.
Notice that the layer configuration panel has been duplicated:
- On the left, the layer configuration when it is at rest.
- On the right, the layer configuration when the animation is executed.

For example, in my case I want the crosshair to become smaller and more transparent when aiming.

We just have to see if it works correctly! Execute the action associated with the animation (in my case, click the right mouse button). You will be able to see how the crosshair animates. Make sure you adjust its speed if needed.

That used to work, I guess I broke it when I changed the input system (the old one was giving some problems). Thanks for letting me know, I've added it to my to-do list! :) Btw, that crosshair you just published to the workshop is awesome!!

@wndZ Unfortunately no, it is not possible to access game data while playing, as that would be cheating.

Is there a way of configuring the crosshair to track down the weapon recoil?
