A couple of simple harmony patches that aims to convert other factions to your ideoligion. Each factor can be controlled in settings. The conditions that must be met is anything the game considers eligible for goodwill currently this is medical treatment/releasing prisoners and both times the pawn must leave converted to your factions primary ideoligion in order to count towards the faction conversion count. Get to the max count along with above or at the configured goodwill amount and the faction converts over to your ideoligion.

*note - medical treatment means that the pawn was tended in any way ie bleeding from a space ship crash, you tended them, converted them while they stayed and they left healthy this will count to your faction conversion count needed.

Features:
  • Convert then Release for prisoners
  • Setting for number needed for conversion, minimum goodwill needed, and a complex calculation that takes into account the number of settlements as well.
  • Graph for total pawns converted

Handles any factions, modded or not. Does not do anything with natural goodwill so just consider that a task of maintaining your influence over that faction. Keeps track of factions separately, so even if a faction is removed mid game you should have no problem here.

Seemed fine adding and removing mid game, small error on startup when removed but otherwise seems fine.

Did some basic testing, but let me know if you encounter something.

Cant seem to get the message from "spread the word (continued)" to register no matter what i try, it doesn't show up on tracked list for me to copy and entering the exact sentence manually doesn't seem to work either.
The exact sentence without quotes is "You need to convert people leaving the map in order to spread the word of your ideoligion"
Are there mods that make me benefit from factions converting to my religion? Stuff like pilgrimage, visitors for rituals would be cool to see

@Ev Both options show when I test it. Unless the prisoner is loyal, then you cant recruit them so only this mods option will be shown

I believe this conflicts with Prisoner Utils, https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2864410456 by overwriting the available interactions with this mod's instead.

@MisterRed: The combination of "Spread the Word" and "Hospitality" should still work; it did when I used the combo.

Come for the nice rooms and amenities, then take our ideoligion home with you and spread the word.

Does anyone know if this works well with Hospitality? I'd rather convert friendly factions during visits if possible, having to capture and convert factions I'm not even hostile with seems a bit bad since the mod also requires them to like me

@Omnires , I know a mod that adds the brass knuckles. You can craft them at the smithy if you download Det's Xenotype - Boglegs. I don't know if the other mod is updated from 1.4, yet, but I think one of the FCP mods had both the brass knuckle and power fists. If you got any skill with code, i'm sure you can modify the mods' files for yourself, changing some XML to copy the elemental damage types off of various magic and powers mods, out there. Just don't upload whatever you do. I never want to see that in the light of day.:steambored:
