The characters
First, lets start by explaining the characters basic moves and cues, so you know how they move, and how to make a strategy to avoid them

Bonnie, The Rabbit: One of the most "Basic" creatures in the game, but yet the one who seems to kill you every time during the first 3 nights. He ALWAYS appears on the left door. He moves randomly across the rooms, but always targeting the left door. He can also disable the cameras when he's going to move. He is also the character that goes to the office the most frequently. On nights 1 to 3, he's the most active animatronic, so watch out for him.

Chica, The Chicken: Also one of the most "basic" creatures. She always appears on the right door, and has a less random movement than Bonnie. She has 2 cues. One that starts in the dining area, and one that starts in the bathroom. If it starts on the bathroom, then she'll move to the dining area, then the kitchen, and then the hallway. If it starts in the dining area, she'll then move to the bathroom, then the kitchen, and then the hallway. She can also disable the cameras when she's going to move.

Freddy, The Bear: Freddy doesn't actually become a danger until night 4 (He rarely moves, but if he does, you also have to take care of him). But on night 5, he becomes really dangerous, because he moves in between rooms really quickly, starting from the dining area, then the bathroom, then the kitchen, and lastly the hallway. If you don't watch him, he'll pretty much move towards the office directly. He attacks from the right door, but if you run out of power, he will kill you using the left one. Also, he will move slower if you are constantly watching him.

Foxy, The Fox: Foxy is really dangerous, if you watch him too much or too little. He can start moving even on night 1, if you have bad luck, and don't watch the pirate cove. The chances of him moving start growing as you progress in the game. He always appears on your left door. To know if it's on the run, pay attention to the noises, and if the curtains of the cove are open, that means you MUST close the left door, and wait until he returns to the cove.

Golden Freddy: There is a low-chance that you may summon him. He can only pop up if the poster from camera 2B shows his face. On the tips we'll explain how to avoid his death screen.
First tip
Each in-game hour takes 86 seconds. Power drains constantly. As such, you want to make sure that your power usage is not excessive. Use the camera often, but try to glance as quickly as possible at each room. Don’t use much power early on, as the creatures will take a bit to get to you. So it might only be worth checking the 1A camera and 1C, to see when a creature makes a move, and to keep an eye on Foxy, the fourth creature. Ideally, you want to have at least 50% power once 3 AM hits, if not more.
Second tip
Remember that once you run out of power, the clock keeps ticking, and it’s possible to hit 0% and still win. Freddy often takes a longer amount of time to move in for the kill if you don’t move once the lights go out. Don’t touch anything, and hope that the clock turns to 6am before Freddy’s song ends. In few words, once your power meter hits 0% (Before the lights actually turn off), take your hands out of your mouse, and cross your fingers. Don't even move the cursor. Just wait there, and hope your hear the bells.
Third tip
Don't bother with camera 6, the kitchen camera This is the audio-only camera. It’s not of much use, but sometimes you can hear the creatures wandering through there. Conserve your energy and don’t check this camera, the savings may add up to the necessary seconds you need to survive Freddy at the end of the night.
Fourth tip
Play with headphones. You know how many games say to play with headphones, and they're not always entirely necessary? This one absolutely is. There a number of audio cues that can save you from getting a jumpscare. You can hear the approach of characters and where they're coming from in many cases, so make sure you have your headphones on!
Fifth tip
Bonnie on left, Chica on right. This is the basic rule, that they generally always appear on the same side. Chica moves steadily toward the player, so if you see them on the right side cameras, then be careful, because at some point soon they will be in the doorway. Bonnie tends to move randomly, so seeing them in the left cameras doesn’t necessarily mean anything other than he’s moving. Flick the left light on and off periodically to see if he’s there, and if so, then hit that door button and leave it closed for a bit. Chica on the right has the advantage where you can see them through the window, but it’s possible to see Bonnie’s shadow on the left if you look closely.
Sixth tip
Beware of Foxy. Foxy is the fourth animatronic creature, mentioned in the day three audio, and he’s a creature you need to keep an eye out for. Unlike the others, he doesn’t wander around, he just stays in Pirate Cove. The best thing to do is to keep an eye on him on camera 1C – the more his head pokes out, the closer he is to attacking. Foxy doesn’t like being watched too much, but he also can’t be ignored. If you hear sudden running footsteps coming from the left channel, that means Foxy is running. Put down the left door immediately. If you see a sign that says “IT’S ME!” on camera 1C, get out of the camera view now and put down the left door. He always shows up on the left side.
Seventh tip
Keep an eye on Freddy. The challenge of managing Freddy is that he can be hard to see and takes a circuitous route. However, watching him with the camera slows him down. He’s a bigger threat later in the week. He darkens the room, so you have to look for his glowing eyes. Be very careful, because he can break through locked doors.
Eighth tip
There’s always a bit of randomness to the experience, so stay on your toes, especially around night 5. The game gets especially chaotic, and sometimes the creatures don’t behave as they did before. This is why it’s best to develop good habits while playing instead of aiming for specific strategies, because if you play smart, you can adapt to anything that happens…. If you’re brave enough. And the game isn’t any less scary in the middle of the day, either.
Ninth tip
Is that the sound of clacking teeth? Yup. That means either Bonnie or Chica is in the room! If you can't close the door that means they're in. Now the best thing people do here is just kill themself but you can try and last the night but only if that is the right door and Chica is in, if it's the left door you are screwed because Foxy will come down the hall way and getcha. Oh and don't check the camera when you hear that noise. Cause when you pull it down. You get to be stuffed in a suit with your name written on it.
Tenth "tip". (Actually it's a curious fact)
Hear that dum diddly song? That's Foxy's theme song! If you check the Pirate Cove the song will get louder. That's nothin' special but it's just a little fun fact
Eleventh tip
Oh no! Golden Freddy was summoned! Most people think if that he spawned, it's an instant game over. But you can actually avoid his death! As soon as he pops up, open the cameras, and then close them. He's gone. But be careful. If you Spawned the Golden Freddy, and else Chica or Bonnie are on your windows, it's game over. You try to avoid the Golden Freddy by looking at the camera, Chica or Bonnie will kill you once you put them down. You lock the doors, Golden Freddy will kill you.
Twelfth tip
I think a good tip would be that if you aren't using a set strategy for night 3 or 4, if you don't know where bonnie or chica are then check your door lights before scrambling all throughout the cameras to find them because by the time you realized they might be in the blind spot it might have already been too late if you were checking the cameras for them.

Strategies
Well, you know how they move, and how to avoid them. But yet you keep dying, because you can't mash your plan together? Don't worry. We got you covered!
Strategy 1
My personal strategy from Night 4 on:
1. Check Show Stage.
2. Pirate Cove.
3. Back to Stage.
4. Pull down cam.
5. Check lights; close doors if necessary.
6. Repeat.

Oh, and I should tell you: On night 4, you can do the strategy slightly slowly. But not TOO slow.
On night 5, you might need to be a bit more hasty.
On night 6, you need to go pretty fast, because Foxy can pop out of his curtain sometimes when you start, if you don't check Pirate Cove.
DO NOT use this strategy on 20/20/20/20. You will not win, as Freddy will move as soon as you start.

Possible strategy for 20/20/20/20 mode
(NOTE: I can't assure this will work. Try it at your own risk)
1. Wait for Freddy to be in the corner.
2. Check him twice quickly.
3. Check lights.
4. Repeat.
You might be wondering, "What about Foxy?". People say that checking Freddy calms Foxy, but I'm not sure.

@alexixawesome0519 Well, there's no defined reason. But there are lots of theories about the game. The one I concider appropiate to explain WHO golden freddy is, is the one game theory made. Look at it. But what I can confirm, is that based on the story the telephone guy tells you, and the newspaper cuts on the pinboard, is that there IS a 5th child, which is golden freddy. But why does he spawn like that, why he has no exoskeleton and why his death screen was meant to crash the game is all a mystery. There are only theories out there. But that's the scent of the game. The mystery behind the animatronics, the 5 deaths, and why the animatronics want to kill you.
