I saw a lot of people asking how to redeem friend invite codes. I was one of these people, took a bit to figure out, so thought I would share.

For those that don't know a friend invite code will give you a 10% EXP boost and a free copy of the inviter's best weapon (of their choosing).

I kept trying to redeem the code like a regular event code (here's two if you haven't redeemed them yet: ONCEHUMANKFBT, oncehuman0710). Turns out its in a different screen. Here's how to get there easily:

1. Hit F3 to open the Event screen. You can also get to here from the ESC menu -> Shop Event -> Events
   
2. At the top-left of your screen, click second tab, "EVENT"
   
3. The left side of your screen will be populated with a column of events, the second one should say "Accept Invitation", click there, you should get an option to bind with an invitation code at the bottom right. Enter your code here.

You can ONLY do this before Level 10. Be sure to do this before you hit Level 10. It is worth the free copy of your inviter's gun that you get. They can select to share a copy any gun that they have a blueprint of, even if they have never crafted it before, so try to find an invite code from someone with a decent gun. Something like a blue+ rarity pistol or sniper, or any purple+ weapon. There's also a meetup reward that gives you some food and activators but tbh, I don't think its really worth the effort unless its a friend you're playing with and will run into anyways.

You can find people sharing their invite codes, on discord, reddit, etc, hopefully along with what gun they're sharing. I've seen some people even sharing yellow rank weapons. If you just want a quick code to redeem (my shameless plug), I'm currently sharing a purple rank assault rifle, the SOCR - OUTSIDER and my invite code is [redacted] (I maxed out my friendship store, use someone elses code please!).

After hitting level 10, you will be able to share your own invite code, for rewards of your own. You will find an event called "Gather Friends" in the same place where you find the "Accept Invitation" event. Share the code it gives you there with others to get rewards of your own.
