Pancakes with chocolate syrup --- Wait for me, both of you !

Like I ever *stop* being hungry for Pancakes...

Wow! You know a lot of variety types for pancakes. Never have I heard of so many ideas in one place. I must admit I'm a bland girl raised on bland foods and prefer bland typically, simple and few flavors at once. My husband, however, loves many flavors so I still need to know of other ideas. Those are great. I bet he's tried half of them.

And here I drag you back, possibly, with my reply so that you may again become hungry for pancakes. I now see how this is going to work. haha

Berries of any kind are always good on and in them- with thinned down honey instead of maple syrup, chocolate chips are great, cinnamon/nutmeg/ginger/caramel bits + whipped cream on top, if they are plain buttermilk- has to have real maple syrup. And savory pancakes are awesome too- less sugar in the batter with onion/garlic/bacon pieces/cheese or spinach/cheese/bacon/mushroom slices or similar. Johnnycakes (cornmeal pancakes) with hot peppers/onions/garlic/cheese/sausage crumbles.

Yeah, fine. Now I'm hungry. And I need to go make pancakes or johnnycakes for dinner.

haha My youngest LOVES pancakes. I just brought that up with him yesterday. I remember when I was younger, the nun at the girl's home made chocolate chip pancakes :D They were delicious! I had never known that was an idea until then.

What's your favorite addition, if any? Some like blueberries.
