A copy of Garry's mod (duh)
A copy of Hunt Down the Freeman (duh)

NOTE: i will be using the current default build of HDtF for this guide.

First go to root folder of HDtF, open the folder "VPKs" inside "HDtF" and copy the directory

Now go to the root folder of Gmod, open "garrysmod" then "cfg" open the file "mount" with notepad and type this under "tf"

"hdtf" "yourvpkdirectory"

replacing "yourvpkdirectory" with, you know.

It should look like this

Make sure to save before closing notepad!

since we only mounted the VPKs, we'll have mount the maps aswell, open both your HDtF and Gmod root folders and locate the "maps" folder. HDtF's will be inside "HDtF" and Gmod's will be inside "garrysmod"

Now copy the HDtF "maps" folder into the "garrysmod" folder, or, if you want only some maps, copy then and paste them inside the "maps" folder in "garrysmod"

You'll need the Half-life 2 map sandboxifier if you want the remove the triggers, npcs, and etc. from the maps.
and thats all, ya done.
