I've been sitting on this mod for quite some time trying to perfect it but that's not possible - so I've decided to release it anyway, there will be bugs.

This is a rewrite of the original and is likely not compatible with any of my older mods.



📕 Content
This mod adds a tactical stance animation system alongside various other animations and gestures to the game.
  • Tactical Stance System
    ↳ Ready (High/Low)
    ↳ Compress (High/Low)
    ↳ Port (High/Low)
    ↳ Sprint (High/Low)
    ↳ Door (Works with High/Low Ready/Compress)
    ↳ Shoulder Tap (Requires ACE, Works with High/Low Ready/Compress)
    ↳ Leg Squeeze (Requires ACE, Works with High/Low Ready/Compress)
    ↳ Automatic friend/obstruction detection.
    ↳ Different Tactical Style sets for different weapons.
  • Sling System (Requires Sling Item)
    ↳ Weapon Slinging (Rifle Only)
    ↳ Swap Rifles (If you have 2)
    ↳ Holster/Quickdraw Animation
  • Adjustable Walking Speed
  • Weapon Throwing
  • Weapon Canting (Rifle Only)
  • Weapon Inspection (Rifle/Pistol)
  • Suicide Animation (Rifle/Pistol)
  • 14 Emotes 🤘 (Some only available when Unarmed)

⚙️ Configuration

...Used an image as description exceeded Steam's character limit.

🫂 Compatibility
✔️ If loaded with ACE, you will be able to access the animations using ACE interact.
✔️ If loaded with Breach, a unique animation will play for the shock tube detonator.
✔️ If loaded with Animate - Radio, radio animations will work with high/low tactical stances.
✔️ Compatible with Recoil Coeffect Changer.
❓ Optional PBO "tsp_animate_walk" adds one handed cool guy walking animations.
❓ Optional PBO "tsp_animate_limit" will limit weapon movement when lowered.
❌ Likely not compatible with other mods that have similar features.
❌ Not compatible with older versions of this mod.

🐞 Bugs
➤ The first step to reporting a bug is to find out if it's a bug or a mod conflict, to determine this:
  • Test without other mods loaded, just this mod + it's requirements, if the issue persists it is probably a bug.
  • If the issue only happens with other mods loaded, it is a mod conflict - remove mods from your mod list until the issue disappears and take note of the conflicting mod.
➤ Next, be specific in describing the conditions and actions needed to demonstrate the issue.
  • You have to provide accurate instructions to recreate the issue, if we can't reproduce it on our own system, we can't fix it.
  • Describe the context in which the issue happens. Is it only in multiplayer? Only in a specific mission? How are you testing?
  • Clearly describe the steps to create the issue, for example: Load the game, open the virtual arsenal and try tapping the shoulder of a unit using the keybind CTRL + T.

It's dope that it's an optional PBO, would be better if it was a setting of some sort.

No way they've kept the shitty cool guy walk for this long. Easily the oddest addition to the mod, everyone I know still uses the old version just because of that one thing.

**Trigger discipline**

When I use the pistol and press T (tactical high ready) WITHOUT walking (left hand not on vest) the character holds the pistol high but with the finger inside the trigger. * D A N G E R *

When I press T and then walk (left hand on vest) and pistol high in the right hand, the character puts the trigger finger outside the trigger guard. Yeah!
