The sun rose over the Screw Kingdom, casting a warm glow on the Innovation District. Tonnù stood at the entrance of the SIT (Screw Institute of Technoloji), heart pounding with excitement. Today marked his first day as a junior engineer. He tightened his grip on his 6 holed beam and stepped through the doors into the bustling atrium, filled with questionable engineers and scientists.

Tonnù settled into his chair, organizing his sketches for his first project: improving the kingdom’s transportation system using ''advanced'' technologies. Hours flew by as he immersed himself in ''designing'', running ''simulations'', and consulting with his ''team''.

Tonnù's first month at the SIT flew by in sketches, simulations, and late-night brainstorming sessions. Every day brought new challenges and also pressure and anxiety regarding the project.

One evening, Tonnù stayed late, determined to put the final touches on his prototype car. With everything set, he decided to take it for a test drive through the kingdom's controlled testing grounds.

The test drive began smoothly. The car while made of wood and dowels navigated through complex routes. As he drove through an old industrial area, the car's compass picked up an unusual signal inside a nearby warehouse.

As Tonnù explored the building, he noticed a door slightly open at the back of the room. He pushed it open, revealing a hidden workshop. On a cluttered workbench, an old floating book in flames caught his eye. (of course)

Tonnù carefully unfolded the hot paper with his temperature resistant gloves, discovering It was a detailed schematic of a chassis, with intricate gear ratios he hadn't considered to add on his own, and in the corner were the words: “By Secret King.”

Suddenly, an old man emerged from the shadows. "I see you've found my little chassis," he said, "I am the Secret King, or I was before my divorce with the Secret Queen.. Now, I'm just a guardian of my infinite knowledge."

"Why was this hidden?" Tonnù asked.
"I want you to take this gear shift and bring it back to life," the Secret King replied. "The kingdom needs someone like you, someone who can bridge the gap between the old and the new."
''Why me?'' Tonnù asked.
''Cant you understand young boy? She took my kids! I don't have anything left besides this blueprint... and my greatest invention.''

Tonnù returned to the SIT, ready to integrate these advancements into his project. After a while, he noticed something.
Something was off. ''What it that?!'' He screamed in confusion, after hours of hard work and dedication.
He didn't know, but it was the Secret King's greatest invention. The Orthogonal Connector.

But as he activated the advanced features, the car began to spin, the gears inside where rotating around themselves at high speeds and its center of mass began to move uncontrollably, then crashing into the stage's edge. (rookie mistake) The crowd gasped, and a wave of disappointment and sadness washed over them.

Tonnù realized that the misterious object was essential for his design to work. Determined to succeed, he knew he had to seek the Secret King's help. That evening, Tonnù returned to the old industrial area, and The Secret King was there as if expecting him.

"I couldn't do it," Tonnù admitted, his voice filled with frustration. "I need your help with my schematics. Without this piece, my design won't work."

The Secret King looked at him with a mix of sympathy and pride. "You came back. That's the first step towards true understanding. You need the Orthogonal Connector, a principle that combines both magic and mechanical engineering in perfect harmony."

The Secret King handed Tonnù a small, ancient map. "This will guide you to the castle. Along the way, you'll encounter challenges, but have trust in your knowledge and remember what you've learned here."

With the map securely tucked away, Tonnù set off on his journey. His path led him to the port where he departured to the island where the Secret Queen's castle is. Tonnù accidentally disembarked before arrival, so he had to swim. When he finally arrived, he saw the gray castle in the distance, knowing he had to proceed with caution.

That night, Tonnù approached the castle, using the map to navigate its labyrinthine grounds. He evaded the guards and bypassed traps with a combination of mechanical gadgets and intellect, and then slipped through a side entrance entering the castle undetected.

The interior of the castle was even more formidable, Tonnù's journey took him through grand halls and hidden passages, each step bringing him closer to his goal.

After hours of navigating, Tonnù finally found himself standing before an ornate door. According to the map, this was the royal bedroom, the heart of the castle and likely where the Orthogonal Connector was hidden.

Taking a deep breath, Tonnù carefully pushed the door open. At the center stood a grand bed covered in luxurious fabrics. Just as he began to explore, a flicker of movement caught his eye. Tonnù froze, his heart pounding in his chest. He was not alone.

From the shadows, the Secret Queen emerged. "Who dares to intrude upon my chambers?"
"I am Tonnù, a student of the Secret King. I've come to retrieve the Orthogonal Connector. The kingdom needs it."
"So, my ex-husband sent you! I have enough of that freak. Do you think you can just walk in here and take it? It’s not that simple."

"I’m prepared to do whatever it takes," Tonnù replied in fear.
"Very well.'' The queen said, ''If you want the Orthogonal Connector, you must earn it. I challenge you to a race. If you win, you can take it. But if you lose, i will take your cool car. Sign here, here and there.''
As Tonnù signed reading all the terms and fine print, he felt a surge of determination.

The Queen clapped her hands, and the room transformed. The walls shifted to reveal a hidden doorway that led to a racetrack behind the castle. The Queen summoned her vehicle, a pink and yellow machine, and Tonnù quickly started his own car, while questioning how he got it here.

"On my mark," the Queen announced, "Three... two... one..."

''GO!'' Both vehicles roared to life, engines humming with a blend of mechanical precision and magical energy. The Queen's car surged forward with startling speed, leaving Tonnù momentarily behind.

Tonnù focused on the track ahead. He knew that to win, he needed to stay calm and leverage both his skills and the enhancements he had integrated into his car with the Secret King. The circuit was a treacherous course filled with sharp turns and sudden drops, and despite his best efforts, Tonnù struggled to keep up with the Queen.
Tonnù's heart sank as he rolled to a stop, the weight of his failure pressing down on him. The Queen approached, her expression a mix of triumph and condescension. "You of course have lost. Tomorrow morning we will meet here to the cerimony, and you will give me your car.

Defeated, Tonnù returned to his quarters within the castle for one final night. He couldn't bear the thought of returning to the kingdom empty-handed even without his car. The Orthogonal Connector was too important, and he knew that the Orthogonal Connector would be presented during a ceremony the following morning.
It was his last chance.

As the ceremony began the next morning, the Queen took center stage, holding the Orthogonal Connector as the crowd watched in awe. Tonnù sprang into action. He darted from his hiding spot, snatched the device from her hands, and bolted towards the exit. The Queen shouted and guards gave chase, while the crowd watched with even more awe.

Tonnù's mind raced as he ran out of the royal circuit while being chased by guards and members of the crowd. As he was about to exit the castle the doors suddently closed and military troops dropped down from Bluey-7 helicopters, pointing rifles at him. The Secret Queen knew the theft was going to happen so everything was prepared.

Tonnù in moments of desperation dropped the Orthogonal Connector on the floor.
The shouting stopped. The soldiers lowered their firearms and everyone watched the Orthogonal Connector rising into the air with even more awe than the last time.
They didn't want to see it, they had to see it.

As everyone gained back their vision, together with the ability to think, they could not believe.
It was missing, and for the record so was he.

He spent months locked away in his workshop, neglecting his royal duties and becoming erratic. His focus on the device led to a gradual descent into madness, as the lines between time and reality blurred in his mind.

Fearing for the kingdom and her family, the Secret Queen seized the Orthogonal Connector and hid it within her castle, hoping to protect the anyone from the device's potentially destructive power, and she later exiled the king from the island where the castle is.

When Tonnù infiltrated the castle and confronted the Queen, she saw an opportunity. She proposed giving Tonnù the Orthogonal Connector, using it as a lure. Additionally, she hoped that if Tonnù succeeded and took the Connector back to the Secret King, it might remind her husband of his past life and the responsibilities he had forsaken.

Disbelief swept through the crowd. The Orthogonal Connector, once again defying expectations, was gone, together with Tonnù.
Outside the castle walls, the engineer materialized, escaping the troops who were still searching them inside. Tonnù wasted no time, activating a safety emergency remote located in his underwear that made his car self-drive to his location.

Tonnù leapt inside the car, with the Orthogonal Connector safe beside him. The car accelerated away from the castle, leaving behind the chaos and confusion he had sparked. In the rearview camera, Tonnù caught a glimpse of the castle, as its spires faded from view, as he realized.

He had the Orthogonal Connector, a device of immense power and mystery, in his possession. With it, he held the key to unlocking new horizons, bridging past and future, and perhaps even understanding the depths of human nature as the Secret King had once sought.
