TWC Server Guide
By TWC_Fatal_Error
New player guide for TWC Server
First of all welcome to a full on war scenerio! We have tried to make a server that would emulate war time conditions. This is designed so squadrons as well as single players can have an absolute effect on game progress. We track your progress on our stats page and you build rank as you survive (die and start over). Both sides have a finite number of aircraft and the best aircraft go to the most experienced pilots still living (to a point) so don't die and return your aircraft to the livery please.

We know you want to just jump in and fly but there are some things you need to consider first. First you must learn to communicate, aviate and navigate.

We have provided communications channels on discord and also on ATAG's teamspeak here i will post a discord link to our squadron link to discord https://discord.gg/AVsFczqxXV please use the read me. Also teamspeak on Atag's server address 104.153.108.10 password calais . these channels provide you with direct communication to users of the server players that care how this war goes and are enjoying themselves so dont spoil the party with vulgar or out of context chatter please. Don't be afraid to ask for help many players here are very experienced and want you to help them win the war they will help if you ask just be polite. Many new players coming from single player to multiplayer for the first time are discouraged by the lack of communication on what they need to learn just to survive in this full realism full war server and we understand so please get on a comms channel and talk!

Our server recognizes you by your steam name and number so once you join a side that is the side you will play for the war until it is over so pick a side and win the war then next war change sides if you so choose. You begin a neuling and are limited to powerful aircraft but not the very best that privilege you must earn as you advance the course of the game. Trust me once you familiarize your self with any low end aircraft you are still a match for the enemy of even the best if he is not careful.......
You should have, upon joining our not so friendly skies, a working knowledge of the aircraft in the game especially take off landing and simple acrobatics. Studying ACM and BCM if you fly fighters is crucial to survival as well as engine management since this is a full realism server. The finite number of aircraft in the server means that actual production of fighters and bombers depends on raw material derived from factories in Briton and in Germany destroying these limits the ability of the production and varies the amount available to the players (so destroy the listed targets) or help the bomber pilots get through for both sides!!

The TWC web page(http:/www.twcpilots.com) and forum contain valuable information on targets and a working radar developed by TWC_Flug (TeamFusion). ATAG_noofy (TeamFusion) has helped with notes and insight, and my self TWC_Fatal_Error (also a TeamFusion member) so please use these resources for more information. I will also be making a extensive radar understanding map so it should follow in a different guide.

Bomber pilots guide
TWC Server and how to initiate an Attack Flight
using cover
this was especially written for bomber pilots and fighter bomber pilots

Bomber Pilots, (both fighter bomber and heavy bomber)

FYI we just rolled out some interesting updates to the TWC Campaign server.
If you're a bomber pilot you know that flying in CloD can be frustrating at times. We've been
working to make the server more interesting and worthwhile to fly for bomber pilots. These
changes to the "cover" system do just that--if my last few days of testing are any indication.
The latest changes allow you to lead a whole squadron of bombers--along with cover across--
across the Channel to attack the enemy. You can sneak in low, come in high, or whatever
works for you--and you squadron of bombers will be with you all the way, to help you attack
the target and make it back home alive.
One pilot can command 2-8 aircraft, a mix of bombers and cover fighters as you choose. And
there is nothing stopping 2-3-4 intrepid bomber pilots from teaming up to put together really
massive bomber formations.
A little like the formations we already see crossing the skies of the Campaign Server--but
imagine if those formations were led and directed by real pilots.
(And note that these new features aren't a benefit for bomber pilots only--if there are more
bomber raids coming in regularly, there is more interesting stuff for fighter pilots to do as
well.)
Here is how it works:
